How the hell did the Sats manage to stay at #9 - or higher.

It's funny how many on here rip a 15 year-old boy and his song to threads on here but are crazy for the Sats to be top 10 -_-

Oh come on, The Saturdays really worse than Justin Beiber?

(I'm not a Saturdays loon before anyone implies...)

I'd rather that neither of them existed to be honest. The Saturdays are one of the worst girl groups ever IMO.

Let's be honest, most of The Saturdays' sales are generated by girls buying their own CDs.
Glad they managed to stick at #9! After their drop on iTunes I was convinced they'd end up at #11 :)
Saturdays #9 :cheer: :cheer: :cheer: :cheer: :cheer: :cheer: :cheer:

The U.K-based teen pop outfit the Saturdays formed in 2007 under the auspices of Polydor's Fascination Records. The five-piece girl group sports an accessible, melodic electro-pop sound tailored for pop radio, not to mention eye-catching good looks. In 2008 their debut single, "If This Is Love," hit number eight on the U.K. charts, only to be surpassed by "Up," which made it to number five, and "Issues" which reached number four. Their full-length studio album, CHASING LIGHTS, appeared in late 2008, followed soon after by a cover of the Depeche Mode synth-pop classic, "Just Can't Get Enough." With Spice Girls-inspired colour-coordinated outfits and distinct musical personalities, the Saturdays instantly captured the attention of the U.K. media, appearing on several television shows including the drama HOLLYOAKS LATER and the children's show ROSS LEE'S GHOULIES.

Oh no, poor Alicia!

That's a climb of 12 places

What a shame Ego only managed to peak at #9 :(

Second lowest peaking single.

What a cheap cheesy pop tune. I preferred Forever Is Over although it was still far from good. lol
18 months ago 'Ego' would've gone top5 with ease.

I'm not judging them as artists - cos they both are barely artists - they are pawns in the industry. But at least the Sats write some of their own material and Una plays guitar etc.

Anyway, i'm judging it on the song, and they both are crap imo. Nothing to get excited about. I just think it was hilarious everyone ripping a 15yo to threads cos of his ear rape when the same people adore Ego - other ear rape.

Double standards if you ask me :P

M-E-T-O-O as Cheryl might say :kink:

Their best since Up IMHO
