February 21, 201015 yr Hah i'm the opposite. I like ballads turned into dance anthems, but hate the candlelight mixes, they just drag the song down like a painful death  This :kink:
February 21, 201015 yr Hah i'm the opposite. I like ballads turned into dance anthems, but hate the candlelight mixes, they just drag the song down like a painful death   I will always hunt out a dance CD single if it has a candlelight remix on it, I may even have enough of them to make a whole compilation album if I had the time and desire to do so! Heaven is stunning in ballad form, and the only reason that DJ Sammy still gets attention on commercial radio in the UK :heehee: I haven't heard the dance version on the radio in years...I love both versions equally though - amazing song. Makes Bryan Adams original seem like a bland mess. I've always been a sucker for ballads anyway - it's my two musical weaknesses - ballads and strings. Give me a string-laden ballad and it's usually perfection for me :heehee:
February 21, 201015 yr See, I still prefer the dance mix of Heaven - the candlelight one makes me bletch these days from being used in that bloody 9 year old 9/11 memorial thing. It's like mixing chicken soup with sugar...
February 21, 201015 yr the candlelight mix of Heaven never got 1 spin over here lol, I guess its just a UK thing. I love Jason Nevins mix of Jordin Sparks' "Tattoo" and Britney Spears "Break The Ice". I also love Hex Hector and Soul Solution mixes of ballads back in the late 90s/early 00s.
February 21, 201015 yr German :P Yeah I was searching now  I was thinking about another group :P

I also love Hex Hector and Soul Solution mixes of ballads back in the late 90s/early 00s. it's an excuse for commercial radio to play dance songs without actually having too, for fear of being 'too upbeat' see also Everytime We Touch which I often hear in ballad form on Heart FM but never the radio edit. Oh, and I just thought of one of my other favourite ballad version dance songs - DHT's Listen To Your Heart  stunning, Edmee was a great vocalist.
February 21, 201015 yr UNRELATED. Does 'Music Everywhere' honestly say ... 'the videos were hit-eos'?
February 21, 201015 yr Okay, I was just listening to it, and I thought I'd ask you guys, it amused me that it could actually say 'hit-eos' ... would've possibly made it more cheesy than it already is, if that's at all possible!
February 21, 201015 yr The lyrics are so tacky, it's one of the most ridiculous songs lyrically to appear in the contest, particularly in the verses  I still absolutely adore it though, it's all part of the charm
February 22, 201015 yr Cassie Davis was just on Neighbours doing a live performance at the cafe! random
February 23, 201015 yr LOL That was REALLY funny! Even this should expect points from Quotosibb I imagine :kink: Oh hell from me as well perhaps - that was dangerously odd  Edited February 23, 201015 yr by Freeze
February 23, 201015 yr Even this should expect points from Quotosibb I imagine :kink: 12 POINTS But srsly, ROFL.
