Amazing :w00t: Though actually I thought only Halo/WOS would have major success...

I'm getting pissed off at the Glee invasion now :/

I love the show but it's very irritating to have their mauling the charts week after week.

At the end of the day, their songs won't be very high on official charts anyway, apart from DSB.

would love it if that happened!

Any chance of pop bars without Helping Haiti? It's pretty much impossible to work out the rest, given the lead that has...
I prefer the boys mash-up to the girls, way more oomph to it -_-

This ^_^

So pleasantly shocked at how well they're both doing!

So happy for Glee, I thought the mash ups would do well when they were released. I hope they hold better than Somebody To Love did.

To be honest, I'm tired of Glee invasion. I accept one Glee song in the Top10 but more... It smells like Cowellship (in terms of monopolisating the chart) which isn't a good sign for me.
How many bars (in normal terms - i.e. excluding the Haiti bar) are the 2 Glee tracks away from knocking the awful Jed out the top 10?

I just wish it was one of the good It's My Life's, No Doubt/Talk Talk or Dr Alban :heehee:

I am sure Glee songs do not have this much success in America do they? I wonder who is buying this stuff or are young kids so in thrall to anything American.Yes indeed how much longer for this series to finish although Series 2 has been commisioned.

I think they do in sales terms (not 100% sure though), but in Hot 100 terms (the "main chart") they won't because that factors in both sales and airplay and with the quick fire approach of 1 or 2 songs per episode per week, the songs won't have enough time to build on airplay to get any meaningful high position on the Hot 100.

Notwithstanding this, I'm sure around 25 songs actually made the Hot 100 in the US.

Seriously, if glee wasn't made rude boy would be #12 ! on itunes WOW

im not good at chart stuff so can anyone work this out ; i think its just a matter of opinion really though '

rude boy is at #15 already wuth no promo ; no airplay or video. just say it was expected a peak of #12 when all of that had kicked in ;

in reality when all that happens will it rise to like #3 or will it just go to like #12?

What you on about 'young kids'? This isn't HSM, it's actually quite an adult show. I'm 22, i know people in their 30's and 40's who watch it. I think you'll find that not many under 16's actually watch it, it's not targeted to that age group.

I dunno why the girls mash up is doing better than the boys though, nor do i know why both are doing better than Somebody To Love, which i think is the best Glee tracks so far including DSB!

So much hate for Glee in this thread.. the Glee songs are a lot better than most of the stuff in the charts atm anyway..

Was expecting two of these Glee tracks high, but not one of them as high as #10. :o

At least though, Jedward are knocked off the Top 10. :kink:

You have got to be kidding son. You'd better clean your ears immediately.
