August 20, 201014 yr I finally saw the video this morning on MTV Dance. About time I actually saw the video being played on one of the music channels. Clubland TV are still obsessed 'Somebody To Love' by Boogie Pimps. Played yet again this morning!!!

August 21, 201014 yr Stromae hits The Guardian! http://www.guardian.co.uk/music/2010/aug/19/new-band-stromae Quality media giving him some press is always a good sign. Eh, they were completely bashing him a few months back.
August 21, 201014 yr Eh, they were completely bashing him a few months back. I remember! Bandwagon jumping happens to the best of us, even The Guardian -_-
August 21, 201014 yr Who has had a listen on his album 'Cheese' by the way? It's very, VERY good! Not brilliant but I enjoy if practically fully.

September 5, 201014 yr So there's yet another version of Aod (the official "remix") out with Kanye West and another rapper who goes by Gilbere Forte. Stromae's verses have been replaced with Kanye and Gilbere and only the chorus remains intact. Edited September 5, 201014 yr by £100
September 5, 201014 yr 8p8P7GqR-Lg It's OK, but not that great, I'm not convinced that it's official though. Unfortunately it looks like the UK single has been pulled, so unless it's a bonus track with the UK album, the Erik Hassle version will probably never be released :snif:
September 5, 201014 yr To be honest, I don't even think the Erik Hassle version would've been much of a hit. 'Alors On Danse' is around #23 on iTunes so it is still selling - seems to have become one of those trickle selling tracks that will stick around for ages without ever having a high(ish) chart peak. Think 'Hey, Soul Sister' by Train. Another monster hit across Europe.
September 5, 201014 yr Kanye West being associated with the track can only help get it more well known, I would think. However, it may be like how Jennifer Lopez features on the remix of Dynamite, or how Nicki Minaj features of the remix of Im My Head. The vast majority of people just don't know about the remixes. Also, I hope Alors on danse can chart top 30 today!

They should just add several remixes to iTunes. At least combined the sales should help push the song up the chart.
September 5, 201014 yr It's been lingering around the mid-50s in Ireland for a few weeks, I think. It's getting heavy airplay on Spin103.8 (Dublin and surrounding counties) and in all of the clubs. Shame that it hasn't been picked up by any of the RTÉ stations. :(
September 5, 201014 yr h5i0oo-ArIE Sorry, if this has been posted already in this thread. I head it on the radio yesterday,
