Sugababes always get huge pre-orders though: it seems that their fanbase hasn't turned out of them.

I don't think Lemar will have enough power to hold on until next week but who knows... Same with Dizzee/Florence. Two more contenders anyway.

Some early positions from the samey Irish market.

After 21 hours in iTunes Sugababes 'Wear My Kiss' are at #10 & 60 there.

Ellie Goulding 'Starry Eyed' #49. :(

Daisy, Alphabeat and Jason haven't been released yet it seems.

We should add three other contenders:

Florence + The Machine & Dizzee Rascal - You Got The Dirtee Love

Glee - Halo/Walking on Sunshine

Lemar - The Way Love Goes

Can't quite believe Sugababes are already top 10 on the Irish itunes, certainly looking quite good for them.

I still think people should watch out for Jason Derulo, its shot to #1 on the Australian itunes this week and i really wouldnt surprise me if it goes top 3 here next week at least.

The lead that Dizzee/Florence has is very impressive but i suspect the lead it be greatly reduced at the end of the weekend.

This is proof that the Sugas can recover from anything.

Surprised at Sugababes success on Ireland's iTunes. Where did 'Get Sexy' and 'About A Girl' peak on their iTunes chart?

From a memory Get Sexy peaked at #1. About a Girl peaked at 8.

Owl City - Fireflies (will still be top10)

Timbaland feat. Katy Perry - If We Ever Meet Again (will hang around in top10 for a while)

Ke$ha feat. 3OH!3 - Blah Blah Blah (unlikely to be top10)

Glee Cast - Don't Stop Believing (lower end of top10)

Rihanna - Rude Boy (top5 possibly)

Lady GaGa & Beyonce - Telephone (surprise flop)

JLS - One Shot (not top10)

Alicia Keys - Empire State of Mind II (Broken Down) (top3 with boost from brits)

Leona Lewis - I Got You (not top10)

Jay Sean - Do You Remember (not top 10)

Pitbull feat. Akon - Shut It Down (not heard it)

Ellie Goulding - Starry Eyed (not heard it)

Sugababes - Wear My Kiss (will just miss out on top10)

Daisy Dares You - Number One Enemy (not heard it)

Jason DeRulo - In My Head (lower end of top10)

Alphabeat - Hole In My Heart (not top10)

Im conviced next week will be renamed the week of disappointment.

The songs currently already out wont move much from their current positions, and the new ones won't make much of an impact.

Lady GaGa & Beyonce - Telephone (surprise flop)

I thought this was pushed back

##8-10 are pretty weak in iTunes so I'm hopeful for 3 new top10 entries for next week.

Now I start to think that Jason DeRulo might be the highest new entry. About #1... It will be unpredictable and will depend on how good is the staying power for Florence + Dizzee.

I've finally decided to vote here.

My picks;

Helping Haiti

Owl City

Timbaland & Katy Perry

Rihanna

Alicia Keys

Ellie Goulding

Daisy Dares You

Jason Derülo

Others (Florence + The Machine & Dizzee Rascal and Lemar)

Sugas, Glee, JLS (might be top 10 due to physical) and Jay Sean top 15

Ke$ha and Leona top 20 max

Telephone depends on the video, might go top 10

Pitbull and Alphabeat not top 40

I thought this was pushed back

Telephone has had a March release date for some time now. The situation was with Gaga being in the Uk and promoting on the Brits the song would have an impact on the top10. As it turns out the Brits promotion of Telephone turned out to be a bit of a disappointment.

I am thinking the top 10 will now be:

10. JLS - One Shot

09. Ellie Goulding - Starry Eyed

08. Sugababes - Wear My Kiss

07. Rihanna - Rude Boy

06. Timbaland ft Katy Perry - If We Ever Meet Again

05. Jason Derulo - In My Head

04. Owl City - Fireflies

03. Florence + the Machine ft Dizzee Rascal - You Got The Dirtee Love

02. Helping Haiti - Everybody Hurts

01. Alicia Keys - Empire State Of Mind (Part 11) Broken Down

I thought it was. So it's not going to be released in the "Week of Death" then is it?

No it's not, but somewhat irrelevant here as the thread/poll is for the Top-10 Contenders for the week 21-27 Feb.

I havent a clue what will be #1 this week anymore!

I have no idea anymore but I think it will be safe to say next week the Top 3 will be some combination of YGTDL/ESOM/EH. My guess is -

1) Florence + The Machine & Dizzee Rascal - You Got the Dirtee Love

2) Alicia Keys - Empire Stare of Mind (Part II) Broken Down

3) Helping Haiti - Everybody Hurts

Daniel I really hope Alicia and Dizzee/Flo swap in your predictions officially. A number 1 single for her is LONG overdue and would truly be deserved, however I can't say the same for Dizzee & Flo. (As i've expressed my feelings elsewhere :P) So here's to hoping Alicia manages to gain on them and manages to do it! :D (Or Jason DeRulo at LEAST :D)
