February 9, 201016 yr I'm so glad Helping Haiti is selling EXTRAORDINARILY well. I hate the song (bar Le's and AB's part) but it's great that it's helping Haiti. That's all that matters. I'd rather have this song number one all year on high sales if that's what helps Haiti :) Just short of 900k second 1.7km 3rd 1m, 4th 430k+ 5th 490k+ No point talking theoretically. I'll be back to discuss Leona's sales if her 5th album ever sees the light of day, the public already seem mto be losing interest. :P Haha you actually think people are beginning to lose interest with her? :lol: Hype doesn't last that long, you know :lol: Leona's second album is has already shifted 600k and that is off the back of a single that wasn't received well commercially. No one expected her (or anyone else in her position, for that matter) to sell another 2.9 million with her second album - if they did they are very optimistic or very naive. Leona will inevitably have a 5th album. She has the talent to get people interested. Plus the girls are dominating the music industry. I like Will and think it's wrong to disrespect him but it's obvious Leona has a more reliable USP than him - her voice. If he can stick around in the music industry, i'm sure Leona can. February 9, 201016 yr Album 5x5 Alex is ahead of them in the album chart? :huh: I thought they would be top 15 at least and Alex be out of the top 40 (:lol:) I have no idea why Alex has climbed unless it's down to taken advantage of low sales.

February 9, 201016 yr Can't say I'm surprised at the sales for Helping Haiti, it was obviously going to be a massive selling single. It'll be interesting to see how much the track continues selling throughout the week. 205k in its first two days means it could be looking set to sell 500k by the end of Saturday. Whether the sales can remain healthy enough to keep 'Everybody Hurts' at no. 1 for a couple of weeks is left to be seen.
February 9, 201016 yr why is tracy chapman fast car in the top 40? 'Fast Car' was one of the songs used in Dancing On Ice on Sunday night. It wasn't even the Tracey Chapman version that was used but maybe Mutya's version isn't on iTunes?

But from the most objective view i could give and based on what most people believe, Leona's voice is more unique. She's got that voice that can make any record sound good imo. Think of the most hated Buzzjack song, I'm Yours. She could sing that and make it sound far better than Jason's version imo. I like Will's voice though. Despite the chavvy takeover in the UK music industry, i think Will remains one of the few classy male artists currently. Will is like the king of class in the UK music industry while Leona is the queen :P

February 9, 201016 yr Thanks Six for the forum update-It really bugs me when people say that but really who sounds similar to Leona.I am not a Leona fan but her voice is unique on every level.Very few singers can match the quality of her voice.
February 9, 201016 yr Regarding Leona/Will Leona has a featurelss, technically excellent voice. Several other singers sound the same - maybe not live but on record they do. Christina Aguilera for one. Will hasn't got as good a voice, technically, but much more originality.
