cheryl will clearly go top 10 because it will get played loads on mtv cos of her good looks - once again the uk top 40 is turning into the video airplay charts!!

This! :D I'm not just saying it to be a Cheryl hater either, promise. The songs nice enough but a bit repetitive and just doesn't do much for me at all.

Agreed about "Stand Up" being the obvious choice, one of only three songs I love from the album. One of them being "3 Words", the other being "Make Me Cry".

Ah yeah. Forgot about 'Stand Up'. But when I listen to that now, sometimes I love it, but sometimes it already feels like "So 2009" or whatever LOL :(

yeah have heard of the group but didnt understand why it was so high up here without any airplay but as I said above the uk seems to buy into any us hit these days which id ont necessarily think is a good thing!!

Y Telephone is not going up?!?! don't get it y Charyl could be top 20 and this now, and they are both B-list and no video yet!

Rude boy will be top 5 soon after the video comes out tomorrow.

Cheryl was only B-listed today, it won't have had any affect yet.

 

Her video however has been #1 on all the box-breakers, 4 music stuff for the past week and is on nearly every 30 minutes. I expect Parachute will be top of the TV airplay charts on Sunday.

Yeah but Kesha will be back, they've scheduled the official release for the first week in March. It was just cherry picking from the album that got it top 10 in the first place.

But we also should remember Dizzee's 'Dirtee Cash' when it got in the final to #17 or so in the time of its physical release. Another example is Arctic Monkeys' 'Crying Lightning' which initially flew up to #3 in iTunes just after the premiere but on the physical week didn't even go Top40 officially.

I'm a bit scared for Blah Blah Blah...

The whole thing reeks of Dirtee Cash so far. I hope that airplay, video play and promo (if she's doing any) won't let it down.
