People can slag Cheryl all they want but people who are saying FFTL is awful honestly dont have a clue what their talking about - One of the best pop songs of last year and sales have proven that!

Bob the f***ing builder sold a million copies, don't make that any good.

She co-wrote 4 songs:
  • 3 Words
  • Heaven
  • Make Me Cry
  • Boy Like You

If she wrote the 'M-E T-O-O' she should never write again.

I do like Cheryl though, and 'Fight For This Love' is a great track IMO.

I love that bit

I really like Cheryl Cole's three solo singles  FFTL is starting to smash worldwide now so obviously there must be more appeal to the song than 'oh it's Cheryl's debut' because she's an absolute nobody in most of the countries it's doing well in at the moment.

Couldnt agree more and its also been consistant in its chart run and sales which 'Bob the Builder' wasnt Silas Climi so i dont think we can really compare them both! -_-

You said it had sold a lot and used that to back up how good it was, i mentioned Bob the builder as an example of big sales don't mean good quality.

This is entirely subjective to opinion.

In my opinion Cheryl Cole is a talentless skank, and Fight For This Love is a horrific, dull, poorly written track. Vocally is weak as hell, and she still can't sing it live.

Our opinions differ because you are a GA fan and have a natural bias for Cheryl/the inability to sing where as i am not really a GA fan.

Do you mean she wrote her name and the date on the top of each paper?

Let's just agree to disagree then :)

And dont get me started on Gabriella Cilmi :puke2: :) :P

Agreed

I like FFTL and Parachute, they are both very catchy- 3 Words is pretty $h!t looking back on it <_<

Its funny how she says 'I know how it feels to sing and dance' on XF to the contestants- dont you mean MIME and dance, Cheryl?!

No I mean she co-wrote them.

she was probably just in the room by accident.

No doubt thought it was Miming 101

Agreed

Has she sang live ever since her solo career started, can she actually sing without autotune.

Fight For This Love was a very good pop song for what it was. 90% of the Girls Aloud back catalogue was better mind but still...

The album was a piece of bland p*** though. Heaven and Rain On Me were good, Parachute is passable. The others should never be spoken of again in way or form.

'Heaven' is a wicked song.

I guess I was playing the devil's advocate a bit. 'Heaven' is okay but the other three really are dire.

In fairness, 'Fight For This Love' is brilliant. A nice simple but extremely catchy and anthemic pop song that will go down as a classic. The only other good songs on the album I'd say are 'Stand Up', 'Rain On Me' and 'Parachute' to a degree, although that is fairly mediocre.

The album is really lame as a whole though and so is she solo, she's not that talented and Girls Aloud are so much more superior.

No I mean she co-wrote them.

It was a joke ... but then again ... I suppose your answer was too!

She co-wrote "Didn't I" and "Boys" too, so that's 6 songs for this era. Maybe 7 with "Just let me go" :kink:

Anyway, Cheryl is an amazing performer, with great personality and great songs. She's got the whole package

And right now on Itunes she's top10 in 8 countries, just to prove it's not all down to her X Factor role as the haters like to claim.

Errm, no, she mostly mimes and at the Brits she couldn't even do that right. If you want an amazing performer, check out P!nk's performance at the Grammys.
