Robyn is in the Radio One Live Lounge today, and it's just been confirmed she'll be on in about an hour.

R1 Live Lounge Setlist

01. Call Your Girlfriend

02. Every Teadrop Is a Waterfall [originally by Coldplay]

Robyn is one of those artists that's just incredible to listen to live. I was a big fan of 'Dancing On My Own', but it's only now with the release of 'Call Your Girlfriend' that I've realised what a great artist she really is. May invest in Body Talks - I'd heard nothing but good reviews online - just a shame it didn't sell too well in the UK.

Not a fan of the original anyway but she sounds amazing as always. Her 'Call Your Girlfriend' performance was stunning.

Sorry to resurrect such an old topic but Robyn was the musical guest on SNL live this past weekend (hosted by Katy Perry) she performed Call Your Girlfriend and Dancing On My Own, and finally her performance worked as Call Your Girlfriend is actually #74 on itunes in the US right now, which i think is the highest she's ever been in the US :cheer: if it climbs or stays steady it might actually enter the hot 100!

here's the performances

That Call Your Girlfriend performance was amazing. Them moves

Does anyone else on here actually watch SNL? There should be a thread. Or maybe just a Kristen Wiig appreciation.

It would be amazing if CYG managed to chart on the Hot 100, 13 years since her last entry.

Bump.

Glorious record. I love all twenty-two tracks here; pop masterpiece which is not overrated at all. I wish the songs she had left out of the final album had been included; there should have been a complete version available.

Bumping in celebration of the 10th anniversary of 'Dancing On My Own' (yesterday).

A glorious song that bares greater significance as time has gone on and remains hugely influential in today's music. It's been really heart-warming to see the recognition of this song the past couple of days and the importance it holds for so many people.

I loved reading this article last night! Makes you realise how brilliant Robyn's song writing is to capture such a universal emotion! Dancing On My Own didn't hit me properly until 2 or 3 years after it's release for me to fully appreciate its beauty!
I remember it came out/leaked the same week as All The Lovers and California Gurls. A glorious week for pop, this is still a magical song.

Over the years the album version of the song has wormed its way into my Top 10/20 songs of all-time.

Heartbreaking pop at its finest  She has a magic touch when it comes to songwriting.

I have this era somewhere in my iTunes library but haven’t listened in full for a while but I will do now I’ve seen this thread again.

I remember loving a song called Love Kills back in the day though

One of my favourite songs of all time, I had goosebumps the first time I heard it and still get goosebumps even now sometimes when I hear it. It's one of about 10 Robyn tracks that I view as being among the best pop songs ever recorded.

Who's That Girl?

Be Mine!

With Every Heartbeat

The Girl and The Robot

Dancing On My Own

Call Your Girlfriend

Get Myself Together

Do It Again

Honey

All practically perfect in every way
