Fantastic for Mary. Really didnt think I Am had any chance whatsoever of going near the top 40. Other than that though, this is the worst the UK Charts have looked in quite a long while, some horrific songs there.

 

That's a bit extreme! I think it's okay. I like 8 of the top 10 songs, and possibly 9, as I haven't heard Tinie's song yet.

Pixie Lott is at #144 with Gravity because iTunes deleted the album which had the song at a higher position. :(

I think Tinie's lead is decreasing a bit, but he has a second version at 55 and a third at 115. I don't think he'll have more than one week at #1 though. Rude Boy could get it next week.

 

I hope Timbo is out of the top 10 soon - it's a shame Gram has stalled at 12 (and 86 and 88). Gram should have top 10 offifically fairly sound as he's #6 in the first mids, but I suspect he'll end the week at around 9 or 10.

I agree but also want to add that when I have heard this song, I thought that it would definitely be #1. It's not only about the current climate which is very mild for these type of artists and the right timing. It is a really catchy song and would do well even without this climate. Not #1 of course but it would have some success. It's difficult to guess though.

 

 

i think the same, dont get how some people who know alot about the charts didnt think it would be no1 - as soon as I heard it i knew it would be no1.its got the current sound following on from dizzee rascal and i like it - and i assure you im not a chav lol!!

and i really hated glee taking over the top 40 but what can you do, you cant always have artists you fancy like rihanna at no1!! ;)
