Did they actually say the silence was the video they were shooting or did everyone just assume it was the silence when that was the believed next single.

I think it is best to only believe information that comes direct from Alex's official website.I think when Alex was asked at the BRITS she said that she wanted the Silence as next single I think she said the same to DS but it was never really confirmed.The release date just has to be the 26th and definately not the 19th where too many strong songs are being released.

She said on the BRITs red carpet she'd chosen The Silence as her next single and the video was being shot that upcoming weekend. Something must have happened in those few days and she never ended up shooting The Silence video.

Why do I get the feeling this could be the US lead single?... Although I can't see why they'd add Pitbull, instead of choosing the Flo-Rida already featured on track, 'Bad Boys'...

The fourth single was expected to be The Silence with Alexandra even confirming she shot the video for the song, it was later revealed that the third single (fourth overall) is the new version of "All Night Long" featuring rapper Pitbull.

All Night Long would have made sense released in Summer, its a Summer anthem. They should have went with the ballad to show album versatility. They were maybe worried ANL wudnt have charted as high by the time the fourth single came around, but its a different version so it was gonna do better anyway.

Now I've thought about this, I am really chuffed as I love the track! TS would've been amazing too though.

Just if the single version is going to have Pitbull on it, I don't really see how that will help the album if that has the normal version on it?

People will realise how $h!t Pitbull is and will rush to get the album without him on it.

Pitbull may be incoherent but he does give the song an edge.I am no fan of his and was dreading hearing this but it is going to be a stand out club banger for 2010.Rolldeep also have a really good dance tune out next month which is the only song that comes close.

The only thing the new version has which improves on the original is the new intro, it doesn't sound as much like Forever anymore and spoken word intros (don't know how to put it) are awesome. It worked for Glee. Hoping the CD single has the new version without Pitbull, I cannot stand that man.

According to the New release list on Buzzjack it is the 10th May, that is so far and it seems odd that her promo starts today.I hope they at least bring it forward a week or two.They have not done the video yet so I supposes that is the reason for the delay.

They have plenty of time to get the video filmed, edited and sent out. Maybe they don't want hype to start just or, most likely, they already have some big promo lined up that week.
