I know, it's so annoying how fickle people can be, I always did and always will think it's a smashing pop song and definitely better than 'Bad Boys'. People go on as if it underperformed too when it's sold bucketloads and had a lengthy chart run. People focus on a peak too much sometimes when it can be misleading. I mean, look at Lady GaGa's 'LoveGame'. It sold nearly 200k which is very impressive by any means, but because it has a #19 peak people go on about what a "flop" it was.

I wasn't really bashing it, just saying why it wasn't quite the big hit others expected it to be. I love it, but it is pretty much a generic RedOne song imo. 'All Night Long' has always been my favourite on the album since I first heard it.

Quick update in the GaGa&Beyonce/Tinie iTunes battle... I combined the pop-bars of multiple versions and did a few wee calculations... Long story short Tinie's total is about 87% the size of GaGa&Beyonce's... By comparison, on Friday it was around the 90% mark.
Definitely 702 :D

They'll probably go over the same time as Alex then. She might be over there a bit later though. Not sure.

I remember being ecstatic that Leona was #1 on both the album chart and Hot 100 in 2008  I hope i get the same feeling with Alex (and obv Leona again)

Anyway, i wish JLS the best of luck. EIL is rather :puke: imo but One Shot is growing on me. Their best release to date. I love how the intro flows into the electro part at the beginning :D

Im sure you will :)

 at least One Shot is growing on you.. I didn't like it the first few times I listened to it either but it grew on me.. Yep thats my fav part too.. the bit after Aston sings

Thanks Dave :) Suprirsed to see NO new entries in the top 40, and only Robbie and Dog Days Are Over making any impact as a re-entry...
I know it sounds cruel but Bad Boys just needs to go away.I hope All Night Long just gives it the last rites.I am so sad about Jonsi A listed by Radio 1 as well, what happened.
All Night Long is now up to 48, I dont want it to peak to early.

Why would it peak too early? It's not like it will keep climbing without radio/video support.

Just as I predicted earlier, maybe 1 or 2 new entries will sneak in at the end of the week, I can only see DDAO and Robbie making some sort of a dent inside the top 40

There might be a Glee song or two, their versions of Van Halen's Jump and Lily Allen's Smile are in tonights episode.

Really hope 'Jump' manages to do a 'Somebody To Love' It's soooo good!

I know album sales count for less than nothing, but Laura Marling is number 2 on iTunes Album chart! :o Goldfrapp are 3.

63. 'She Said' [EP] - Plan B [Released: 28th March 2010]

66. 'This Ain't A Love Song' [EP] - Scouting For Girls [Released: 28th March 2010] (Was released last week I think and reache d30-something I believe)

84. 'The Defamation of Strickland Banks' [ALBUM] - Plan B [Released: 12th April 2010]

88. 'I Need You Tonight' [EP] - Professor Green [Released: 12th April 2010]

144. 'Everybody Wants to Be On TV' [ALBUM] - Scouting For Girls [Released: 12th April 2010]

183. 'Signed Sealed Delieverd' [ALBUM] - Craig David [Released: 29th March 2010]

She Said is a masterpiece compared to the worst song of the year so far - Professor Green. If that's a success too, I will cry.

I wonder if both versions of 'Telephone' will go Top 10!

My pop bars aren't working, is anyone else having a similar problem?
