I'm glad this is happening as the original version may climb to #1 as a result.

This isn't solely directed at you, but why is everyone saying the song has had no radio airplay? It's had loads! I hear it all the time on my local radio stations. So it's at least getting played a lot in Birmingham.

 

I think the song is decent. Not amazing though. I like it about as much as Telephone at the moment.

 

But let's be honest, it samples the most popular song worldwide from 2009 (Boom Boom Pow), so it's never gonna flop. :D

Perhaps. I can understand how people feel though. I was completely baffled by what Tinie Tempah did a couple of weeks ago. I look at the iTunes chart, expecting Rihanna to finally be number-one, and then this guy, who've I've never heard of in my life, and a song, that I've never heard before is number-one instead!

 

Except I've heard this song loads, and it's not number-one, so it's not so shocking (I'd probably be more shocked if it wasn't in the top 40 to be honest).
