tacticz arent you a girl? :o or maybe you still are..

They're at #2! And plan B not progressing as much as some had thought..

Ugh I'm not a girl. ;) You fish. Just because I like Gaga or Rihanna doesn't mean I'm a girl or gay.

Glad to see Alex flopping with a rather BLEH song to be honest. It had potential, but it just doesn't work imo.
Those who are slating 'She Said', I wonder if they'd slate the song if Plan B was Amy Winehouse or any other female artist for that matter!!!

This really irritates me when it probably shouldn't. Maybe I would like it if Amy Winehouse was singing it, maybe she wouldn't sound so out of tune on it. I just don't like the sound of Plan B's voice, it really grates on me, and stops me from liking his songs. I like plenty of male artists. Hence why I am backing Alex Gardner and saying how I wish he was higher.

I don't know why this has been brought up, just because we don't like the song. Surely this is allowed, without rolled eyes?

I was about to write something similar until I read this. :D Alex's song is ok but yes it's far too MOR to make any proper impact.

I find it quite hilarious that Jester chose Alex Gardner, out of all the new releases, as the UK Chart Show Thread's "One To Watch". You couldn't have got it more wrong. I'd have chosen Plan B!!! -_-

Eugh tell me about it, I hate it because Plan B has a really annoying 'singing' voice. That's that. I don't think I'd like it if Amy was singing it for the record, I'm not a huge fan of her anyway. I just think it's an awful song, it's nothing to do with this annoying 'female bias!!1' people always bang on about. -_-

I'm strangely torn. Normally I wouldn't want SFG #1 but to be honest, would be a nice change from the rest of the generic R&B/Pop thats been dominating the charts lately. And seriously, how the hell is Florence/Dizzee STILL top 10? I thought this would be big in its first week then go away. 2010 has been rather dire so far - only 'Fireflies' has been the saving grace for me.

I chose Plan B last week ;)

I chose Alex Gardner as it does have potential. Its only one to watch, i'm not predicting huge things for it.

But weren't you the one who kept saying that was the reason people on here dislike 'Bedrock'? :P

I don't mean to sound rude and arrogant when I post these things. :( It's just my personal opinion and I just like to get my thoughts onto the forum. Maybe the rolling eyes was uncalled for but it's just how I've observed stuff on Buzzjack since I joined. Everybody is different and has their own tastes. It's just that my tastes are so different to most BJ's who adore mostly female artists.

But weren't you the one who kept saying that was the reason people on here dislike 'Bedrock'? :P

That's more to do with BJ's dislike for rap really. :P

Agreed, I've read the same broken argument in the Bedrock thread the other day, half of the threads in the lounge and then nearly all of the Record of the Decade threads when somebody dares to say that they don't like Coldplay or when I said I didn't like Linkin Park making the top three of the 2001 game last week. I'd be quite happy with other male vocal songs making the top tens of these years - I just don't like these bands/songs full stop

Or BJ's dislike for any artist with a penis

The anti-indie/rock stance (outside of posters who love the genre) is way more annoying than the anti-male. I haven't really noticed the latter much at all tbh. Meh.

Is Pass Out gonna be one of those songs, that is only pushed down by new songs, but never really falls on its own, if you know what I mean.

I can see it having a chart run like this - 1-1-2-2-3-4-5-6-7 or something like that
