Well she's had plenty of entries here (understatement of the year) and he hasn't exactly dished out a 12 to every one of them :lol: nothing shameful in an 8 or a 10! I'm thinking;

If you actually thought about it hard enough, you could probably guess most people's 12's, 10's, 8's from the songs they rave about/complement in these threads. But one 12 and bugger all else is no good to a potential winner, this is where all the low points come in useful too!

Both of the albums I have by The Knife I have were in my top 100 albums of the previous decade. I've not listened to the new album yet, and after hearing 'Variation of Birds' it's gone further down my list of albums to download. It's utterly dreadful.

There is surprisingly a rarity that those who like indie admits and calls out the indie songs that they dislike/think is bad. At least in here I have barely noticed a single comment. It makes me get the impression that all indie music is somewhat good. Even when it seems to be some utter $h!t, it's like supposed to be that way - and is still considered mega freakin' fantastic..

 

I love most aspects and mixings of pop (electro pop, indie pop, rock pop, dance pop, synth pop etc..) - but I can still see and call out the amazingly hideous ones :puke2:

 

 

 

Edit: Although Variation of birds is more experimental then indie I guess.
