I don't think I liked any Geri singles at all, ever - closest I came was Lift Me Up but even that was only 'ok'. Everyday I Love You was ok, but I doubt many people remember it even existed. Boyzone singles always fell into two categories - pop standards e.g. No Matter What, Picture Of You, Words, Love Me For A Reason, Baby Can I Hold You and forgettable fanbase buys e.g. You Needed Me, Isn't It A Wonder, Everyday I Love You, Coming Home Now...I'd struggle to place A Different Beat anywhere, I think it should be a lot more well remembered than it actually is, just because it's completely bizarre for a boyband song

Lift Me Up i would say is her best TBH

That flop Indie band Delirious? is one of my fave bands, I'm so glad they are going out on a high  #1 beckons, just a hunch

I saw them live once, can't say I remember much about it at all  It's a Facebook campaign to get a Christian band to #1 for Easter so once this week's over, it'll dive Killing In The Name style...

you needed me may not have been the best "pop" songs b a boybad,bt it is definitly oneof the best and most beautiul "songs" by any boyband

wow, never knew some FB campaign can make a song go to #1.

The only Geri single I...ahem, "liked" (by that I mean found it so hilaiously bad I liked it) was 'It's Raining Men' where she doesn't even attempt to sing any of those big notes. That might explain why I liked 'A Different Beat', because it's very different to all the slush puppy boybands released in the mid 90s.

Yes, no. 1 in the Hate Chart. Well, it wouldn't surprise me. :P

I've never heard of the track. Must YouTube it to see what it's like.

Its actually pretty good, I might have to chart it in my personal chart.

Nah, 'Killing In The Name' dropped 01-02 before its ultimate plummet. Delirious? will plummet much faster - it'll be out of the top 1000 in a fortnight.

Maybe Silver Rocket misunderstood your "wow, never knew some FB campaign can make a song go to #1" comment. :D

Have you been living in the dark ages

yeah but what happened in the xmas?

Or maybe not then!!!

Rage Against The Machine got to no. 1 at Christmas thanks to a massive Facebook campaign to stop the X Factor winner Joe McElderry getting the Christmas no. 1 single - a case of Rage Against Simon Cowell.

LOL

I was having life in the xmas...that's all I know.

So was I but it all over the news all week so nobody could exactly ignore it.

amazing but I hate the fact that a campaign can play with the charts...just a bit worried about the charts future lol.

maybe only in UK, since I haven't heard nothing where I live.

I heard there's going to be a fairly high profile Facebook campaign to get 'God Save The Queen' by Sex Pistols to no. 1 in the week of the Queens' birthday.

Then come Christmas 2010 I wouldn't be at all surprised if there's a campaign to make 'Fairytale Of New York' a million seller - it would need to sell about 600k but if RATM could sell 500k in a week it is possible if enough people get involved. It exploits the UK charts just as much as record companies did 10 years ago with single releases.
