Posted March 29, 201016 yr Scouting For a number one single 10:34 | Tuesday March 30, 2010 Source: MW By Ben Cardew Singles Scouting For Girls look odds on to score their first number one single this Sunday, with This Ain’t A Love Song (Epic) ahead of Plan B’s She Said (679 / Atlantic) in midweek sales flashes. This Ain’t A Love Song is currently some 9,000 sales ahead of She Said, which itself is just 100 sales in front of the current number one, Lady GaGa and Beyoncé’s Telephone. Scouting For Girls’ Gotta Keep Smiling, the B side of This Ain’t A Love Song, should also debut in the top 30. Meanwhile, Delirious look likely to score a big chart hit with History Maker (Survivor) a track taken from their similarly titled greatest hits set History Makers. Albums On the albums chart, there look set to be a raft of new entries. The highest of these is likely to be Madonna’s Sticky & Sweet Tour live album (Warner Bros), which should debut within the top 10. New albums from Kids In Glass Houses (Dirt [Roadrunner]); Craig David (Signed, Sealed, Delivered [uMTV]), Free & Bad Company (The Very Best Of [Rhino / UMTV]) and Katherine Jenkins (Believe [Warner Bros]) should all debut within the top 20. +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Top 40 Only Singles 1 Scouting For Girls (9k ahead of Plan B ) 2 Plan B (100 copies ahead of GaGa) 3 Lady GaGa (100 copies) 4 Tinie Tempah 5 Justin Bieber/Ludacris Top 10 Usher Delirious? March 30, 201016 yr Kids In Glass Houses in You Me At Six album style shocker :o I suspect a similar drop in the second week too haha. Awesome stuff.
March 30, 201016 yr Looks like SFG have it in the bag. Can't see that gap being overturned by the end of the week. Going to be close for #2 as I expect Plan B to increase the lead from now till Friday, but GaGa/Bey should close that gap over the weekend, which could make for a nailbiting finish.
March 30, 201016 yr I get my head round the MW report is Lady GaGa #1 or SFG  1) Scouting (9k ahead of Plan B ) 2) Plan B (100 copies ahead of Lady GaGa) 3) Telephone
March 30, 201016 yr I get my head round the MW report is Lady GaGa #1 or SFG  I read it as Scouting for Girls at #1, 9k ahead of plan B, who are 100 copies ahead of Lady Gaga at #3 Edited March 30, 201016 yr by truly talented
March 30, 201016 yr Scouting For Girls’ Gotta Keep Smiling, the B side of This Ain’t A Love Song, should also debut in the top 30. If this is anything like what happened with JLS and Umbrella, it's the EPs sales that are in the Top 30, and have someone been labelled as the B side.
March 30, 201016 yr I have completely different albums (Gaga #1, Kids #10, Madona top 5) Edited March 30, 201016 yr by outlook
