Hai peoples, I've been looking around here and am interested to enter the competition (plus I've been on BJ for almost a year). I hope it's not too late to enter this month's contest.

Country Name: Danaelanda [pronouced: Dan-yul-anda] (as you can see I'm not very imaginative and I've used my own name to make a country name) (plus it sounds like Yolanda [as in Yolanda Be Cool - who made my fave song of last year] :kink:)

Capital City: Aelan [pronouced: Ay-lan] (using the middle five letters of my country name)

I hope these names are OK ^^ :)

I'm already thinking of a song that isn't in the 'songs of the BJ contest list' (unless I've missed it in the massive songlist) and I'll be starting my national thread soon  Btw, I'll be on a school trip to Sicily on 26 - 30 June, will I miss out on any important voting or is it OK to start this month? (I haven't followed this forum closely enough to know when voting starts and ends)

Good to see you join BJSC too Daniel :D My country is the Kluminican Republic if you didn't know :) Your taste in 'unknown' music is very interesting too and I shall be looking forward to your future entries! Each 'voting' period (confirmation, semis and final) is at minimum a week long, so you shall be able to vote seeing as you're in Sicily for 5 days :D I'd imagine that it would be around the end of the semis/beginning of final when you go to Sicily.

 I don't even try to enter her, it would be prevented :P Will be great to see a dance buff here, we get a bit of dance but not much!

Welcome newbies! :cheer:

We're a friendly bunch, so if you have any questions just ask and the mod team is always a PM away!

I be Ashton, one of the four countries with a 100% participation record, a mod and despite my 'angry' rep as long as you don't attempt to enter Born This Way I'll remain oh so very friendly! :kink:

Hi guys, been a lurker on the forum for the past few months so I thought i'd finally join and sign up, hopefully get the chance to compete in this monts contest.

In terms of music taste, i consider myself a Panmusical (my own word), i generally think i can like and appreciate all kinds of music from Clubland to Country and Western

Country Name:Terran Republic

Capital:Portiski

A flag may follow, but don't hold me to that

In the words of Patricia Hodge, such fun!

Unfortunately you have to have been a member for six months before you can take part...

ahhh, dayyum. never mind. guess that means I'll have to wait a bit longer.

btw, your signiature just made my day.

well good day madames et monsieurs.

Uno question. I've only just come back to the forum :yahoo: looking back at some of these recent participation requests it seems that theres a six month wait after joining before one is eligible to enter. As i've technically been a member but havn't posted does my absence mean that i cannot compete or am i still eligible.

All the best,

^ I'm not a mod (you'll probably to wait for something official from them) but I think it's OK :)

That's fine Sugabloke, welcome to BJSC :)

Sorry but as (non-BJSC mod) Tirren said, you will have to join us in December cantthinkofname :)

oh yeah btw, i forgot to mention this but i have previously competed as Allecian, so not really a new country more a returning country, so I will be entering the competition as Allecian. :)
Oh, before my time  Welcome back then :D
Hang on, are you and cantthinkofname the same person? :/

I thought of that as well actually.

I'm 12 days away from being eligible and I will hope to compete from August, am I allowed to open a national thread now so I can make a flag etc. or do I have to wait until 23rd June because I'm bored and need something to do :D
