Tiffany Page Catapulting Juranabaijan To BJSC Victory!

Or so we hope so... The selection for Juranabiajan in BJSC 27 has been decided and we have chosen to have Tiffany Page represent us with her stunning track On Your Head. We saw this track on TV channel The Box a little over a month ago an were going to enter it to the 26th BJSC but couldn't due to not being able to find an MP3 of it and there not being a video on Youtube. Now, we have found a video for it and can therefore enter it to this contest instead. We have every reason to believe that it can outperform Lifehouse's position of 36th...but we'll just have to wait and see if it'll make the Top 10 and outpeak Agnes' 7th placing!

It won't outperform Lifehouse in my ranking at least. :kink: :P
Nice Song. Could u check my entries please, im so confused :)

I can't remember what she looked like. But I do remember there was a couple of big dance songs released pretty much the same time, but I can't remember which one was Milks... :( I know one was called You're A Superstar, but I don't think that one was by Milk Inc so it must've been the other one...

Is that who you're routing for then? Or are you just acknowledging the amazingness of Milk Inc?

How old is Angus & Julia Stone - Paper Aeroplane? Because Alesha Dixon samples the backing track for her album track 'Don't Ever Let Me Go' on 'The Alesha Show' or vice-versa?

That was Love Inc :P Milk Inc did Walk On Water, In My Eyes and Land Of The Living - what an amazing three hit wonder (in the UK that is) they were

Yep, out of the four that was my favourite personally.

Just Wikipedia'd it and it looks like it's from 2007, so that mean the Alesha Song track probably samples this one! (or at least sounds similar...but I haven't heard it. :P)

I did take an instant love to Fire, but still pretty unsure... :(

I think I may have to google the Milk Inc tracks cause I can't remember what they sound like. :(

No Time For Winning!

What was supposed to be the 'big comeback' has left Juranabaijan in a state of shock as it's entry performed by LaVive plodded in at a lowly 27th place scoring just 21 points. The signs should have been noticed earlier, No Time For Sleeping was predicted by many to come bottom 8 and just ONE other country tipped it for a Top 10 placing.

One thing is for sure. If Juranabaijan wants to earn a reputation for itself, we'll have to step up our game for the next bout. See you all in the 33rd BuzzJack Song Contest!

I thought the song was quite catchy, however there was a good few songs I liked that missed out on points. :S

Journey to Batidas!

Us at Juranabaijan would love to say a great big congratulations to the new entrants to the BJSC, Batidas, who have won in their debut contest with Agnes' Riverside. No not our first class #7 smashing Carlsson, but the Agnes of the Obel variety! Armed with a proper internet connection once again, we look forward to competing head to head with the new country and oldies to hopefully crash in with our first victory in the 34th contest later this month!

Who to enter? We haven't a clue. But we mean business this time!

WARCHIDIA!

War has broken out in the island of Orchidia. Kathaldazia are said to have 'started' on Juranabaijan and Vulcania as they are not conforming to the death by hanging laws which have been a tradition in Kathaldazia - and much of Orchidia infact - for centuries now.

Mayor Juranamo has released a press statement saying "It's not that we don't support you in everything you do. But hanging a grown man, just because he doesn't want to work as a dairy farmer is not the way forward in our eyes". Death by hanging was illegalised in the BuzzJack Year of November last Decade and will not be tolerated in Juranabaijan as it is against our aspirations. "We want to be seen as a nation that looks after it's people, that seeks to help those who want to work as something else, nursing them into their desired role. We do not want to be seen as a nation that bullies it's citizens into occupations and lives in which they do not want to live. We have nothing against countries with different ideologies to ourselves, we just ask that we do not come under fire for doing something different."

Despite the views of the Juranabijani population, Kathaldazia have proceeded in missiling capital St Juranamo, putting the country further into political despair. Despite this, the BuzzJack Grand Prix, due to be hosted at Hernoter Raceway will still be going ahead, and Juranabaijan will still enter the next BuzzJack Song Contest, which they have failed to make for the last 2 fixtures.

The return of the greats.

Juranabaijan are back in business. After taking a forced break from the last BJSC, they return with unknown US band, Black Gold. Mayor Juranamo explains, "the BuzzJack world WILL love it. It's dancy, it's fun, it's exciting, it's a little indie. To be honest, I think there's something for everyone here!" Black Gold have as yet only broken through in Juranabaijan, who first discovered them in national treasure - Feeder's - October tour.

HYPE ZONE

What do you make of Black Gold?

Are your toes tapping when THAT chorus comes in?

Are you going to give it YOUR twelve? :o

Well, you may not necessarily be able to answer all of these (especially the last...), but lets gets some Hype flowing! :cheer:
