Upcoming action/thriller originally set to star Tom Cruise as Edwin Salt, a CIA officer who is accused of being a KGB agent. When he couldn't sign on they recruited Angelina Jolie instead and the character became Evelyn Salt. Seems like there's a large element of identity theft in there. Perhaps nothing ground-breaking but it looks to me like it'll be very enjoyable:

I just say unrealistic as so much from that industry. even the title salt is *****. at the first sequence of that trailer it is so unbelievable that she smashes the cop through the window. the business really don't know what to produce else so they come up with stories which everybody saw 100 times

I saw this last night an i loved it! Brilliant film, i loved all the twists and turns.

I want to watch this! I like Angelina Jolie doing action.

I loved this, so tense from the beginning - Angelina is so good at action movies. The ending was kinda $h!t/unsatisfying but it's a pretty solid movie I thought, I'd reccommend it, very entertaining.

I agree the ending was rather anti climatic, in a way like wanted was. Didn;'t spoil a good movie thankfully.

I'm unsure about seeing this from the trailer. i hate terrible endings so if it has one i'd rather save my money and watch it online at some point.

Watched it yesterday, it was quite terrible. I mean the plot and everything. It's sad to see films with so much conspiracy.

 

But acting and Jolie in particular was amazing as always.

I loved it, the entire film was brilliant, not a boring part at all, one of my best so far this year!

I saw the trailer when I went to see Inception. I didn't really fancy it before (Tomb Raider makes me shudder), but I do actually quite fancy it now I've seen a trailer for it.

It's a no-brainer action flick, nothing more, nothing less... Does what it says on the tin, distinctly average, tries to be like the Bourne films, but just isn't.... Suppose it's fine for the 90-odd minutes you watch it, but cant even be bothered to feel one way or the other about it tbh....

Clearly you've not seen many films this year then.... I would suggest if you want to be entertained by an action film, go see The Expendables.....

Yep, it's blatantly a Bourne-type franchise thing they're going for here.... Only a lot more predictable and "meh"..... Every one of the "twists" I spotted coming a mile off....

I can't even bear to go and see this, it really looks awful. And I get free tickets. Haha.

I pretty much enjoyed it watching Angelina kick some ass :wub: but a lot of potholes with all the twists trying who was sided with who.
