Im not sure on this one. On the one hand, I never expected the lead single to be this low but on the other hand, it isnt one of Alicia's stronger singles and there are come to think of it quite a lot of songs on the album superier to it.

I'm indifferent about this (as I will be about the rest of the songs). On one hand; I really like it, and on the other; it didn't deserve to beat 'Doesn't Mean Anything', although I guess the high averages make up for that...

Just pipped to the top 5 is the rather bland bonus track 'Pray For Forgiveness'. This is probably my least favourite song on 'The Element Of Freedom', so it doesn't deserve to be this high on such a high average at all!

Another one of my album highlights, the beautiful 'Love Is Blind', which is track 1 on the album (discounting 'The Element Of Freedom [intro]'). It's my 2nd favourite song on the album with "love" in the title, and I'm quite glad it finished so high.

The 4th US single finishes joint 4th. This is also one of my least favourite songs on the album, and it's the track in which Alicia's voice grates on me most, so I'm very surprised it managed to finish so high.

I found this okay at first, but now it's been overplayed by radio etc., and it's very overrated. Alicia's vocals sound strained on this (yet again), so I tend to skip this most of the time. Give me Jay-Z's version over this any day.

Finishing 2nd is the song which Alicia delayed her album so that she and Beyoncé could record together. It's my personal 2nd favourite on the album, so I'm absolutely chuffed that a song featuring Beyoncé has managed to finish so high on an album rate! It's set to be released as the worldwide 4th single [after 'Un-Thinkable (I'm Ready)' in the US and 'Try Sleeping With A Broken Heart' in the UK], and I'm thinking it'll be a massive Summer smash-hit!

Now I know a lot of people love this song, but I never expected it to achieve such a high overall average! From intro to outro, Alicia's vocals are flawless, and the true meaning of the song is beautiful. Bravo.

I'm so shocked "Put It In a Love Song" is #2! I'm not a hater (far from it), but holy hell no way should it be ahead of "Un-thinkable" or some other tracks. Oh well, there'll never be a list where everyone agrees unanimously. At least the #1 favourite is deserving ("Try Sleeping With a Broken Heart"). :)
