June 1, 201015 yr The whole faux-suspense thing gets a bit tedious. Cowell was obviously going to chose the boy band. They're the better marketing opportunity for him. The doorman will get bookings as a result of the show so everybody wins.
June 1, 201015 yr I feel the right act got put through by the judges. And even though the winner of each semi-final is predictable, at least the public are making the best choices :)
June 1, 201015 yr I feel the right act got put through by the judges. Go on DS and most say Simon should have put the bouncer through but is seeing money signs yet again.

June 1, 201015 yr Again, the right result- the dog act deserved to go through automatically and I dont like Connected- but it was obvious that they were going through and MAYBE they will get better in the final, and its obvious the judges wanted them through too: a boy band have far more appeal than a doorman ;) turning out to be an alright final- I hope theres no more dance acts that will go through
June 1, 201015 yr Connected can't sing. Simple as that, but the bouncer could. They put the wrong act through but it's the fault of the teen girls who should be in bed now. Edited June 1, 201015 yr by Victor Meldrew
June 1, 201015 yr Ah Tina and Chandi through.. Well I guess its good a dance act didnt get through as there will be quite a few in the final now I liked Connected in their audition.. They werent too good tonight but hopefully pick a better song for Saturday.. Imo the judges picked the right act.. Connected have more potential to do better after the show etc, whereas Neil doesn't
June 1, 201015 yr Tina and Chandi are now my second fave act after Spellbound. Not fused with Tobias (an older George Sampson) or Connected (Westlife: The Next Generation).
June 1, 201015 yr Apart from those (very dated) dancers in the skimpy outfits I didn't see a whole act all the way through - only caught the 'reminders' and the decisions. I thought Connected were rubbish the first time I saw them and they're just way, way too 'old hat' to go much further in their careers than they are now. On Simon's decision though ... I'm certain he was going to go for the bouncer bloke ... until someone in the audience really loudly shouted 'Neil' (if that was his name) ... and Simon then had a look of utter contempt on his face and so went the opposite way and went for the crap boy-band. Glad the dog went through ... but really ... this show has got to end ... it is total and utter bollox. Norma

Norma Straight to the point as ever  I think Cowpat was always going to go for the boyband. The hesitation was just an act - like most of what he does. In the long term Neil might have made him money but he's more interested in the short-term opportunity offered by the boys.
June 1, 201015 yr So looks like Pixie Lott is performing tommorow, Miley on Thursday, JLS on Friday & then Usher and Susan Boyle on Saturday
June 1, 201015 yr In the long term Neil might have made him money but he's more interested in the short-term opportunity offered by the boys. And given the abundance of these 'boy-bands' at the moment ... this is going to be very, very short-term. I still think he was going to go for the singer though. This whole show is sh/te though isn't it? I'm so glad I've been away for a long weekend to York and actually 'lived' for a bit ... with no telly at all! Norma

June 2, 201015 yr Sure about that? That last act was one of reasons why BGT can be a joke. As bad as the man chopping wood last night. I will NOT let anyone say a bad word about Sean Sheehan. Sure, he's got as much charisma as a cheese salad bagel, his vocals are worse than Ian Brown's after a 40 beer p*ss up and he appeared to be dressed for a BNP convention during the semi final, but he's the only act so far that I've gone back to watch on multiple occasions. Chopping wood, chopping wood, chopping all day long.
June 2, 201015 yr Todays acts: The Arrangement Starburst Paul Burling Peridot Chloe Hickinbottom Jimmy Forde Christopher Stone Philip Grimmer From those I like - The Arrangement, Paul Burling & Peridot so don't mind who goes through out of them
June 2, 201015 yr I'm not liking how there haven't been any 'interesting' acts gone through so far - some crap singers, a dancer, a boring dog act and some boring gymnasts. I'd take Regurgitator, Wood Chopper, GaGa impersonator and the Armenian guy over them any day. I wish they'd create a new X Factor for dancing and make dancing/singing acts (who do nothing else) have to audition for the X Factor instead, because they're auditioning for a place on the Royal Variety Show FFS.
