Come on Prof. Green, overtake Timbo now...

Edited by RikRok

I'd say it's stupider to download the trash that is Professor Green at all tbh. ^_^

No it's not.

yeh but, im entitled to my opinion. no-one has to do it, i was just saying. i probably wont do it

I know you are, I'm just saying...

Soooooooo pleased SFG has so far managed to keep hold of the #1 spot! However i think sales will drop off quite a bit over the next few days as the album is out tomorrow.
The song is so uplifting.

I really like every song on the album, and I think "Umbrella Beach" is a good choice, though I'm a tiny bit confused as a video has been made for "Vanilla Twilight"

Needs to be added to the play-list now, it's released the same week as Ellie Goulding - "Guns And Horses", which is already on the play-list. They have no reason to ignore it after "Fireflies" spent 3wks at #1

Umm as in before you my life was acapella (incomplete/bare/empty/lacking) but now it's not?

Kelis sings "Before you, my life was acapella..." - it's a metaphor.

She's saying there was something missing in her life (love = music bear in mind) and when she meets this person she's talking to, the metaphor is that she's got music in her life. The song is complete, with lyrics and music, which is a metaphor meaning her life is complete with this person. Simples :)

I like the little battle between prof and selena, dont really care who makes it out on top.

Kelis is my favourite new addition, #11, when it gets inside the top 10 it'll make even more progress. Can anyone give me a brief outline of what the song means? like before you my whole life was acapella? what does acapella mean :)

Acapella = singing without music.. which can be seen as empty I guess.

Before you, my whole life was empty.

Thanks Liam, yeah i've googled the lyrics  and that fits, love the song now! After a few listens really addictive..

I have a secret urge for Professor Green to be No.1, I like the sound of Ed Drewitt and the video is Fantastic (-ly funny). Make the charts more interesting aswell!

Not so secret now...

Incase anyone wanted to know

Joshua Radin up to #9

Inna down to #10

Kate Nash to #35

Vanilla Twilight is probably the 3rd single.

If people start to cherry pick 'This Ain't A Love Song' off the album, that'll be two versions (albeit the same) charting in the iTunes top singles chart. Therefore the combined sales would actually benefit Scouting For Girls.

Despite all the competition, SFG could end up no. 1 for a third week.

That did cross my mind earlier, to be honest I don't know what's worst Professor Green or Selena or SFG, I think I could bear with SFG for another week. -_-

I'd love Plan B to sneak #1 but he missed his chance. :(

Same... although as off tomorrow with the album out there will be 2 versions of it out, which could help

As Scouting For Girls has already had two weeks at no. 1, I'd choose this song for a third week. If it really is as popular as it appears to have been to get to no. 1 in the first place then it should milk the no. 1 for as long as possible. People might just look back to 2010 and think "yeah, that SFG song was a deserved no. 1". Had it gone 01-03-12-29-46-OUT I'd have thought it was a definitive non-no. 1 but it's held up much better than I expected.
