Except Telephone was a surefire #1 hit. ANL hasn't got that certainty about it. :(

I hope with great promo and a great video (the shots look amazing) ANL will be another top 10. Radio 1 need to get their heads out of their arses. Seriously.

I wouldn't say Telephone was a surefire #1, but I was sure enough that I predicted it to be #1.

All Night Long almost certainly won't go to #1. 3rd singles from an album don't generally do so well (unless they're named Meet Me Halfway :D).

Diana will get it in the end but it will be very, very close. I'm so glad Plan B is still top 5, the album is pretty awesome too.'

And the new Kelly Rowland single is a future smash. I'm not allowed to post a link but youtube 'Kelly Rowland - Commander live @ Supafest'. AMAZING

That's true actually. I don't think songs such as Meet Me Halfway, Bad Romance, and others would've done very well without it. There's no way they would've sold over 700,000 without it imo.

Bad Romance would have easily, or at least not have done noticeably worse. I think what would have suffered more is first singles like Fight For This Love and Bad Boys, without a big means of promotion I'm not sure they would have even gone to #1.

I'd say 'Fight For This Love' is probably the song least affected by X Factor.

It was a surefire number 1 before she performed it, I'm sure. Iirc, it was the only X Factor-related song to be #1 on iTunes before being performed.

Both JLS and Alexandra were Number 1 on Itunes before the X Factor performances same as Chez - the only one that wasn't was Leona - who only had abrief stint at the top of Itunes before BEP's took over

The 3000th #1 will be Sue Sylvester with "Vogue" :funky:

Is this released next week. I saw the video in thisispop's chart thread and it's a very good spoof of the Madonna classic. Glee are taking the charts by storm so who knows, maybe it could be a big hit next week.

Black Eyed Peas seem to be releasing 'Imma Be' as their next single. It's just being given it's "exclusive video UK premiere" on Channel 4 after 'Shameless'.

Imma Be by Black Eyed peas getting an "exclusive" showing on C4 at the moment, although theschedules show a party political broadcast.

Looks like they are giving it a good push then, should begin to rise soon?

:puke2: Seriously hate it, a real step down after four singles that were each brilliant in their own way.

I will be really pissed if this goes top 10 when 'Rock That Body' couldn't.

Leona was number one on itunes from sunday night till thursday lunghtime (: so it wasnt that brief! (:

Chipmunk has just tweeted...

ChipmunkArtist Catch me on @GMTV live from 7:50am... Alongside @EsmeeWorld !!! 5 minutes ago via UberTwitter

So expect them to take over DiVi sometime tomorrow. Although I'm still confident enough that DiVi will be number 1 come Sunday.

Imma Be is amazing! It's such a great song! I don't really get it though. It says of the release schedule that they're releasing Imma Be Rocking That Body on May 31st, so surely shouldn't they make a radio edit of that song, and play that instead.

But last night, I heard Imma Be on the radio for the first time, which was really good (it's been censored so much, that it sounds a bit disjointed in parts though). I hear that some stations have been playing Imma Be for months though.

I think Imma Be has the potential to do well. It got number-one in a America, and also got to #1 on their iTunes, despite being the 4th single there!

The main problem with Imma Be is that people might listen to the first 30 seconds of the song, and decide they don't like it, and change channels. The song is completely different at the end, but people who presume that the song has a typical verse/chorus structure may not bothing listening to the song until the end, if they weren't a fan of My Humps. :D

GMTV doesnt do much so Diana should holdnon

1. Once - Diana Vickers ▬ 100%

2. Until You Were Gone - Chipmunk 89.2%

3. OMG (feat. will.i.am) - Usher 81.1%

4. She Said - Plan B 50.0%

5. I Need You Tonight (feat. Ed Drewitt) - Professor Green 46.6%

Scouting For Girls move ahead of Kelis into #6. Timbaland + Justin Timberlake remains solid at #8 & Glee continue to rise; as they pass Selena Gomez and take #9.

Yep chip and esmee on GMTV soon, should give it a little boost it needs, going to be close i think..
Most of it.

Last time I recall reading 75% to 80%

That was several years ago, before Amazon Downloads arrived. I dare say it is only around 60-65% now.
