Silas may have something to say about that :kink:

Anyway, boo @ Facebook campaigns and 3 :puke2: H!3 :manson:

and me halfway that is. Although if you met me you'd think I were incredibly straight.

Gosh these Facebook campaigns are getting annoying but keep climbing TINA! :cheer: I love The Best. It's funny that I forgot about this song. My mum loves this song and has her greatest hits album.

'The Best' is overrated and shit. Maybe more overplayed than overrated. Especially at weddings and other celebratory things :puke:
On its original release i'm sure Don't Touch me got as high as 13 on Itunes, but only got to 21 on the main chart
Same thing happened with The Script 'Breakeven'! I was so pissed off. It reached 12 on itunes, but because of the competitive week it reached a peak of 21. stayed there for the next week and hovered around and fell now lower than 16 or something, but in the officials it slipped to 23 or something like that :drama: I was really annoyed.

Wow at Tina!

normally I wouldnt want an old song to do so well, but I can't believe it only peaked at #5 originally. It should have been top 3 at least! Hope It can hang on strong next week and get it!

I'm sure we'll all be delighted to know that the group who got Delirious? into the top 5 for Easter week are backing ANOTHER song from this Sunday. It's for a new artist who has been dubbed the Lada Gaga of Christian music. Needless to say that unlike the Delerious song, this is pure and utter sh!te.

Hopefully :) Another song I heard in November through the US & Australian Charts; The UK need to sort themselves on this issue, it just helps illegal downloading, by hearing it 6 odd months before It's UK release.

It doesn't make that much difference, the causal buyers (who will be the main buyers to make a song a hit) won't know of a song's existence until it's promoted over here, most people don't follow other countries charts like we do on here.

To be honest, the most 'gay' fanbase I've ever seen is/was the Sugababes fanbase. :heehee: (when the babes had one :heehee: )

Oh Hai Arrs!

Surprisingly there were equal numbers of gay guys and straight guys on the babes old official [and the one before that] Dunno bout the new one [since K was sacked] as i refuse to go near it on principle.

I could bet all my money now saying Diana is safe at number 1 on sunday. ^_^

She is still ahead on iTunes this thursday morning, plus she has physicals. On the other hand, Chipmée & Usher are downloads only.

However, methinks she will be number 1 for only 1 week.

TINA TURNER TOP 10

So far, probably the most interesting chart story of the year - top 10 for the second time 21 years after its original release. :D

Someone should make a campaign to get Des'ree's "You Gotta Be" or "Life" to #1.

RIP. My condolences are with you and your family.

Aww sorry to hear that SweetDreams. RIP.

Happy, Because of You and How Everything You Are are the songs that make me cry - for personal reasons. :(

Oh I'm so sorry SweetDreams. R.I.P.

Thank you guys <3

To clarify something, it wasn't originally a facebook campaign but it was a way to spread the word more. The campaign was originally to help highlight and support the work done at Erskine Hospital for ex-servicemen & women, a charity that has been well supported by Rangers and it's fans over the years, with Rangers having an opportunity to win the league this week it was an opportunity not to be missed and a big push was made with "The Best" being the unofficial anthem of the club.

If you look at several of the armed forces websites they're all backing the campaign as well which is why it's doing as well.

The YNWA campaign is purely to stop "The Best" from topping the charts, however from what you guys are saying both are unlikely to top the charts especially with "The Best" being a download only. I joined this forum as I was looking for somewhere that could explain better how the charts worked, it's been very helpful and I'm quite fascinated by it all now :)

The Best #7

You'll Never Walk Alone #16

At Half-Time, It's Rangers 1-0 Celtic: But Celtic have been raising the tempo towards the end of the half ;)

Has just seen Professor Green live on the Box, beginning to like him, he seems quite cool :P

Shakes head in disapproval. :P

Remember everyone who at least remotely care, Diana is doing Radio 1 Live Lounge (Once acoustic and a cover) at 10am. ^_^
