Usually the tracks just end up in the bottom end of the top 40, and trail off in the week, to be honest they are not going to do anything much.

I hope you are right what an ugly thought the charts being dominated by BGT warblers choice of songs.I hope come the live shows they may have some good acts perform.

Yeh, i dont think glee will get no.1 in the uk. The irish seem to like glee alot over there as other songs have hit the top on their itunes. Also remember Diana has a different sound and accent so some people probably dont like the accent so she might not get to the top over here but i predict she will here and she deserves it and i want it to be number 1
I think "Gives You Hell" will get top 10, but #1? Forget it. Not on the week when Diana Vickers is releasing.

Glee might get #1 on iTunes but I think it will fall quickly. Just had a listen to the song and it's not a contender for being the Glee best.

New releases tonight:

3OH!3 – Don’t Trust Me

Robin Thicke with Estelle – Rollacoasta

Not much tbh, only Diana & Chipmunk will make any major impact. Hopefully Christina is released aswell? Anyone know if it is?

LOL. They Re-release the song, and then they f*** it up by releasing it on a stronger week than the last time they tried?!

Robin Thicke I swear he was released this week...

LOL. The curse of Estelle (and the fact he pretty much is a nobody anyway)

Estelle is still trying to replicate her one and only hit? :/

I really want Munk and Denters to smash Diana Vickers. I like both songs but she just sounds so horrible it sort of ruins what is otherwise a very good pop track. :(

Plus the Glee version of 'Gives You Hell' is fantastic. It's so cheesy and brilliant :lol: I think it'll make the top 20 but they'll take over the charts when the Madonna episode airs...
I agree, Glee's next chance of a song getting even close to DSB level success is one of the Madonna songs.

Here's hoping it's 'Like A Prayer' as opposed to the overrated 'Vogue' :cheer: 'Vogue' will peak then drop. But I have a feeling LAP could peak lower than V but will linger for longer. Well I hope that at least anyway. :heehee:

I think the next HUGE Glee song will be Vogue - its already been trailed and the episode is getting quite a bit of buzz.

Give You Hell may sell big for the fact that Glee has gained so many fans and will be one of a few songs that sn't already on the Glee albums

Hey, Soul Sister #43 :wub:

In the UK, our releases seem to be so late, especially for being such a major music market:

Just Dance (feat. Colby O'Donis) :: Lady GaGa

APRIL (Oceania + North America)

AUGUST (Europe)

DECEMBER (UK)

Hey, Soul Sister :: Train

OCTOBER (North America)

DECEMBER (Oceania)

MAY (UK)

Replay :: Iyaz

JULY (North America)

NOVEMBER (Oceania)

JANUARY (UK)

Fireflies :: Owl City

AUGUST (North America)

NOVEMBER (Oceania)

JANUARY (UK)

The list goes on, It's a bit dissapointing; anyone with info.

David Guetta's Gettin Over You is released tonight.

I wanted to say it would flop big time due to no promo (not that I dislike the song, I haven't heard it)... but this will probably at least go top 75 considering he released a song called GRRRR last year with zilch promo, just an unexpected release, and it made #88.

This brings up another dilemma for my spreadsheets - I wonder if Gettin' Over (David Guetta feat. Chris Willis) and Gettin' Over You (David Guetta feat. Chris Willis, Fergie and LMFAO) should be counted as the same, and if so, which? The original also made the top 100 last year (#86). Confusion :wacko:

It's the same deal with video games as well. :(

Europe always gets them last for some reason.

Great to see DJ go top 100 of the back of that peformance! Hope it does well when it's released, easily their best song of this era I'd say :D

on another note, I see my favourite song of all time is back at #73 :party2:

In fairness, a lot of those were released here around the time they peaked in the US. Infact 'Just Dance' was released here the week it finally got to #1 in the US. It works differently over there though, singles take their time to blow up, especially debut singles from acts that aren't established.

Is that because of the new 'Back to the 90's' compilation album thing? It ALWAYS seems to be the most cherry picked track from whatever album it features :heehee:

And so it should be :dance: Funnily enough it came on the TV when I was having my lunch at work today, and was swiftly followed by I Will Love Again by Kelly Llorenna :heehee: on that Dance Nation channel that's replaced Flaunt...

Such a classic, no song comes close for me :wub:

You're talking about the song so secretly that I feel like a spoiler now posting the #73 thing:

73. Set You Free - N-Trance

:lol:
