April 18, 201016 yr Wish Eliza had got top 20 :\ I really thought it would as it had a sudden surge of sales towards the end of the week and was at 13 on Itunes.
April 18, 201016 yr NTTC was boring. How is Eliza not top 20? =/ Boring song again though. I agree Skinny Genes is quite boring.
April 18, 201016 yr really like this song :) seems to have been on music channels for aages, first heard it months ago so assumed it had been released and just flopped
April 18, 201016 yr this is why this bias is unfair and why they should get rid of him or at least play a varied amount of music, when JK and Joel presented the show, at least it wasnt biased Are you sure that actually Reggie himself selects the songs to play, not the producer?
April 18, 201016 yr why is this in the chart? I saw this doing well this week, but ive never heard of her before nice, peaceful song actually :D
April 18, 201016 yr Author 21 (from 14) Alicia Keys - Empire State Of Mind (Part II) [D] http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/511VeGUukVL._SL160_AA115_.jpg Chart Run: 52-48-xx-35-23-15-7-5-4-5-5-6-6-9-14-13-14-21 [17 wks] Format: download only track Precocious R&B vocalist/pianist Alicia Keys was hand-picked by Clive Davis as one of the flagship artists for his post-Arista label, J Records. No doubt he was as impressed by her multitude of skills (Keys took a large role in the writing, arranging, and production of her debut album) as by her music, which mates contemporary hip-hop accoutrements to an old-school soul sensibility a la Jill Scott or D'Angelo. Only 20 years old at the time of the album's release, Keys already seemed poised for a major career built upon her soulful voice and classically trained piano chops. While hip-hop played a much bigger role on her second effort, 2003's THE DIARY OF ALICIA KEYS, it was a smash nonetheless, and subsequent recordings have further pushed the boundaries of R&B - HMV Video here (live): Chart history (Year peak title): 2001 03 Fallin' 2002 37 Brotha Part II (Angie Stone Featuring Alicia Keys And Eve) 2002 18 A Woman's Worth 2002 26 How Come You Don't Call Me 2002 06 Gangsta Lovin' (Eve Featuring Alicia Keys) 2002 24 Girlfriend 2003 19 You Don't Know My Name 2004 18 If I Ain't Got You 2006 62 Ghetto Story (Cham Featuring Alicia Keys) 2007 06 No One 2008 53 Like You'll Never See Me Again 2008 09 Another Way To Die (Alicia Keys And Jack White) 2009 02 Empire State Of Mind (Jay-Z feat. April 18, 201016 yr Are you sure that actually Reggie himself selects the songs to play, not the producer? It could well be actually, but either way, the same songs are played and skipped every week heres an example: he/they are playing this, and skipped Owl City, Alicia Keys is a MOBO-type artist
April 18, 201016 yr I agree, this song is overplayed -_- i used to love this but hearing it over and over made me dislike it now :manson:
