Glasgow-via-Belfast indie-rock ensemble Snow Patrol have played everything from shambolic noise-pop a la Pavement, to a slightly droney post-rock in the vein of Mogwai, to epic lovelorn anthems modelled after Coldplay. While the band's influences are clear and undeniable, Snow Patrol are no mere imitators. Instead, they display a confidence and a sense of fun that has made them one of the most successful bands to emerge from Scotland's fecund indie scene. The band's third full-length, EYES OPEN, topped the U.K. album charts in 2006. - HMV

This is very boring.

Set Fire To The Third Bar sounds like a Christmas song. I'm feeling festive.
I adore this song   It's one of my favorite songs from their "Eyes Open" album, much better than Chasing Cars I think
Can't believe that Snow Patrol track peaked at #18! Thought it did much better...
Hi everyone sorry I'm late. Futureheads cover of Acapella is dreadful.

I agree, it was awful

Heartbeat Song

At least it went top 40 ^_^ Should be higher.

Hmm, what's #35.

EDIT: Bad Romance.

Lady GaGa is a dance-pop singer from New York City. Born Stefani Germanotta in Yonkers in 1986, she attended the Tisch School of the Arts at NYU while performing at open-mic nights around the city. An early collaboration with rapper/producer Akon led to her signing with Interscope Records, which released her debut album THE FAME in October 2008. She scored a number one hit and a Grammy nomination with her ode to lost, drunken nights, "Just Dance." The song went on to top the charts in several other countries, helping GaGa to develop an international following. The vocalist made headlines at the 2009 Brit Awards when she, along with Brandon Flowers of the Killers, performed with the Pet Shop Boys on a medley of the synth-pop duo's hits, including the classic "West End Girls." - HMV
