Awful week for #1s, Fragma and Emma aside. Madonna I loved but was overplayed and now I don't care about the song. Calvin, Gnarls, Beyonce and Room 5 are average. The others complete cack.

Usually 2000 is the best year out of these, but not this time! Pretty bad dance/R&B tracks :( [sees 2005] oh yeah

^^ They possibly meant N Trance did great tracks whilst the Freeloaders - well I haven't heard anything else by them but that one song was $h!te on a stick and rolled in mouldy candy floss.

Maybe, good point, though I did love the Freeloaders.

Hows things Grami?

HOTSHOT!

This week's hotshot is the third single from Colombian superstar Shakira's latest album She Wolf. Starring well-acknowledged tennis hottie Rafa Nadal. It's Gypsy, which is released this week as a digitial single.

What do you all think? How will it do? Love it or hate it? :)

I really like Gypsy, but it will flop in the UK.

BTW in Germany Gypsy is number 7 atm :D

Yes but at two different ends, N-Trance were always quite techno sounded, whereas Freeloaders were a bit more commercial dance, like along the lines of Uniting Nations etc. N-Trance always did quite anthemic songs didn't they? Freeloaders just sounded like dance by numbers even if I like the latter...

Let's hope we seen the last of Journey, ear plugs at the ready.

That was more of the sound in the mid-noughties though and in the 90s dance was much more dynamic. Clearly they were just going along with what was popular at the time.

I'm good though I've had to buy a new laptop and waste an entire month's paycheck in the process

How are you?

I hope Glee DSB is still top 40 today. Glee makes me feel all happy and warm inside :heehee:

Afternoon all, btw!

Oh hi there people!

Almost forgot about the chart show because I was doing ICT homework - we have to make a platform game. It's fun.

EDIT - Oh, someone edited the topic title.

Yeah exactly, I was just surprised because nothing about the whole project like WHATSOEVAH had any N-Trance stamp on it :o It's a bit weak for them IMO!
