This album is a grower. It's a nice album and you can tell she's spent a lot of time on it to get it right and make it flow properly. 'Get Outta My Way' is such a grower too! I'm loving it more and more everytime I hear it. Still no where near as epic as ATL for me though :P

'Cupid Boy' is still immense! That lead into chorus is crazy! :wub:

Agreed. It's sooo aggressive for a Kylie song and I don't want to like it but I can't help it.

Really? I think it's quite flat. It really could've used a massive injection of bass. The one thing which really redeems the song for me is the amazing middle 8 but it's so damn short.

after listening about 10 times i will post my ratings now, which no one will care about as it is very boring and not technical

but "meh" to them :lol:

 

10 All The Lovers - as said before, the best Kylie single ever and holds up well among other album tracks.

08 Get Outta My Way - was not as keen on this but it is slowly growing on me, the chorus is simply amazing though.

09 Put Your Hands Up - was my favourite on my first listen, still love it now and the ending is perfection.

10 Closer - this, i never expected to love so much but it hooked me right from the beginning.

100+ Everything Is Beautiful - AHHH! WOW! LOVE! PERFECTION! BEST. KYLIE. SONG. EVER!

10 Aphrodite - I love the drums, drums make any song amazing, fierce and mighty song.

08 Illusion - standard slips slightly on this one but it is also growing, i like it quite alot

09 Better Than Today - like meeting an old friend, the production is lush on this and i adore the chorus.

08 Too Much - same deal as Illusion but this is ever so slightly better.

10 Cupid Boy - amazing song, would be an amazing opener to the tour, love the "i'm addicted" line

20 Looking For An Angel - 2nd best on the album, i love, love this song to bits and the intro is orgasmic

09 Can't Beat The Feeling - great closer to the normal edition and the last chorus when she goes " that iiiiiiiii get" is to die for

10 Mighty Rivers - this song is stunning and very beautiful to listen to, should have made the album and followed EIB or LFAA

heartstrings - quite a lazy song with the repeated verses and i will not be downloading for my album, 6/10

I think it works great as it is, upbeat stompy disco pop, it's not meant to sound revolutionary or anything particularly new for Kylie and it works like magic.

 

Love 'Cupid Boy' lots and lots now too.

I can't wait to get my hands on this album! i have to wait till friday to get paid though :( but everyone seems to be in love with this album as a whole so far so thats a very good sign, and those are awesome first day sales for her! i hope she keeps selling throughout the week and stays #1!

So the album is #6 on US Itunes :o :cheer: ...i know that probably won't translate into many sales but still id say thats a pretty nice acheivment given the fact there hasnt really been any promo here for it yet, here's hoping it does better than X!

Nothing 10/10 worthy for me but Everything is Beautiful and Illusion are very close, firstly I gave 'Illusion' 10/10. :P But at the same time I didn't give anything lower than 7/10 (fairly good mark for my ranks) so the album is very consistent and has no filler which is the most important factor for me. So the whole mark for the album is 10/10 even there are no really outstanding songs on the album for me. :P

So... is she No.1 in terms of mid-week?

Yes number 1 in both sets of midweeks so far.

So happy that we will get another #1 album and one which fully deserves it.
