April 29, 201016 yr Adam :o So we now have 9 new entries out of a potential 11/12 (though Like A Virgin looks unlikely now, HSS and Te Amo still have a chance)
April 29, 201016 yr Author no rule 10 this week ? :( [10] If you pass Go you can collect £200 :magic:Â

April 29, 201016 yr Ooh, N-Dubz look like they've got their 4th top 20 hit as lead artists (and 5th overall) ^_^
April 29, 201016 yr Adam is doing very well at play.com.It is really good to know that so many songs that the R1 playlist are ignoring are entering the Top 40.i Just hope they can hold on until Sunday.Has anyone seen the ANL video on tv yet.

April 29, 201016 yr Spiidey, sorry if this is obvious but is Adam #39 and Alex #40? :unsure:Â I'm shocked Adam is that high tbh. But if he does make top 40, R1 will play it. :kink:
April 29, 201016 yr Edward Maya (through a trance compilation as a remix so it may get deleted) and Kevin Rudolf have both been added to iTunes now and are at #54 and #90 respectively - if they both shoot up, that's another 2 potential new entries... Boys Like Girls could also potentially make the top 40. It's safe to assume Like A Virgin isn't gonna make it, but I still make out 14 (!) possible new entries (of various levels of probability) Good Times, Like A Prayer, She's Always A Woman, I Am Not A Robot, Need You Now, Try Sleeping With A Broken Heart, 4 Minutes, For Your Entertainment, All Night Long, Hey Soul Sister, Te Amo, Love Drunk, Stereo Love and I Made It (Cash Money Heroes). April 29, 201016 yr Haha - I can just see Adam Lambert modelling for Burberry or some other big fashion house. What a fool believes - eh  Get a grip! Adam has already had a few big modelling offers thrown at him but though he has taken up the ones that won't interfere with his promotion timetable, he has a music career to concentrate on. Perhaps the Andrew Stone with a sense of humour bypass meets La Roux' less gifted brother that is Patrick Wolf may find himself having to make that decision one day. Who knows? I can't believe I'm even commenting on the comparison but thanks for the laugh. Spiidey, sorry if this is obvious but is Adam #39 and Alex #40? I'm shocked Adam is that high tbh. But if he does make top 40, R1 will play it. :kink:  It's not that obvious.  Both Alex and Adam's singles have suffered from lack of airplay and from both tracks having been available for download from the album (the import album in Adam's case) for several weeks now. Both have hovered outside the top 40 for weeks already prior to official release - in Alexandra's case due to early TV performances such as DOI and in Adam's case due to video play on music channels since late March, despite the relative lack of radio airplay for both. Radio1 has played Adam one time. I don't know if they have even played Alex. Commercial radio has been more supportive of both but to no considerable level. Glad alex and adam is in top 40 but how is adam in front of alex Adam is doing better on Play, HMV, Amazon, etc than on itunes for some reason. Strange as his video is back in the top 20 on itunes now. Don't get me started on the EP format. I think Adam is back in the UK next week to promote the album which is released... although has been avaliable on Itunes since last year. It's a different version of the album to the American import that has been available since November, with four extra tracks. April 29, 201016 yr As pointed out on PJ, Sophie Ellis Bextor gave a really godd performance on GMTV so hopefully she could go Top 20.How great would next weeks chart be if there was Alex, Adam, Sophie, Train, Lady Antebellum, Rhianna and Alicia.Kate Nash's comeback has been so poorly handled which is a shame. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tTqdV2ZBJhI Â
April 29, 201016 yr Bloody hell, when was the last time The Fall had a top 40, let alone top 20, album? :o
