she already said her influences for this album (cant for the life of me think who right now) but i remember thinking 'so it will be electro', so i dont think she is just doin what everyone else is doing, she would do it anyway. She just chose the wrong time. Same with Kelis' new album, and Xtina's.

Because the charts work completely differently over here than other countries. Usually, 9 times out of 10, songs here in the UK smash near enough straight away (which is vital to them releasing it at the right time *cough* Christina's management *cough*) whereas in the US & Canada It'll rise on iTunes, but they take far longer to peak and generally smash, considering Airplay gets included too. I think the same may be for Aus, but don't quote me on that haha.

'I Kissed a Girl' seems to be vastly underrated on this forum...
