May 11, 201016 yr Rule 11. ..... In case rule 10 gets broken, make sure you have a poop scoop handy :naughty:
May 11, 201016 yr In all honesty, I'm surprised she's sold as much as she has of both singles and album. I've seen too few new fans to make an impression. Most of those who didn't like her affectations on XF haven't been turned onto her by song that they may like sung by someone else. She's relying hugely on her XF fanbase but good luck to her. Not many are as lucky as to still have them sticking around a year and a half later. I wouldn't say that at all, I for instance didn't even like her during X-Factor but am quite a fan now. She's way way improved and with the excellent next single I think the album will keep going steadily, I did expect an initial slump.
May 11, 201016 yr Christina taking off :cheer: Be gone haters and doubters who said it would flop. You were wrong ! And  at Alicia's Platinum Collection heading for top 20 ? I used to like her... but what is it? Is Xtina trying to look and sound like GaGa now? Shame!
May 11, 201016 yr I used to like her... but what is it? Is Xtina trying to look and sound like GaGa now? Shame! Try not to be too hasty. 1 song does not an album make. I'm not a particular fan of the 'dance style electro pop' music (Britney, GaGa etc) but I'll reserve judgement on Christina until I've heard the album. If there is much more electropop on it then I'll be making part of your comment myself....... "I used to like her"
May 11, 201016 yr Ive never heard of National- but I hope Keane keep number 1, even though they've been a bit lazy with the single :( I hope Fyfe can keep top 10, pretty sure the Glee Cast will shoot up tomorrow
May 11, 201016 yr I'm so not with it. I didn't even realise Keane had an album out. Good to see them back though, I may have to investigate the situation.
May 11, 201016 yr I'm so not with it. I didn't even realise Keane had an album out. Good to see them back though, I may have to investigate the situation. Technically it's only an EP, but it might as well be an album Edited May 11, 201016 yr by kutox
May 11, 201016 yr I hope The National can overcome Keane at the end of the week. Surely this masterpiece deserves the top spot better than Keane's album which I haven't even heard of until today. Does anyone know the peak for The National's Bloodbuzz Ohio single? :)

She's way way improved and with the excellent next single I think the album will keep going steadily, I did expect an initial slump. I'm sure you're one of a certain number. I have to agree with PSILU though, like PSILU, I'm not going to say there are no new fans, just not that many. Diana's vocal style is too love or hate for the material to make that much difference to enough people. Edited May 11, 201016 yr by Franzipan
May 11, 201016 yr Stereo Love only #12 :nocheer: Hope it does an Inna then and hangs around the lower end of the top ten for a while, assuming it gets there at all. It's been to the top 5 in every country it's been released in except Belgium (which is a LOT of countries!)

It's been to the top 5 in every country it's been released in except Belgium (which is a LOT of countries!) They must be missing some data. Stereo Love can't be that low?
May 11, 201016 yr If Glee ever have a chance at #1, it's this week - can't imagine Roll Deep's sales are that high. It won't happen, but this is their only even slight chance of it happening. Aggro for #1, shame Edward is flopping  I can only assume he'll pick up a bit Hope to see Sub Focus make the top 40 by Sunday :D Can't see Keane or The National having sustainable sales, so I think Plan B will get back the #1 for a third time :o 3 separate runs at #1 in its first 5 weeks, pretty unusual. Nice to see 4 new entries in the albums top 5, last time that happened was with Alexandra's Overcome, Bublé's Crazy Love, Whitney's I Look To You and Seasick Steve's Man From Another Time. Disappoined The Remix is lower than #5, I'm hoping it has the power to overtake at least Foals though. Edited May 11, 201016 yr by Bray
May 11, 201016 yr I think glee bad romance/poker face are going to be great. Glee looks like it could make top 5 despite it not being shown till after 9pm last night..
May 11, 201016 yr Very pleased that tomorrow's Radio 1 mid week chart show will be Glee songs and songs not playlisted other than Stereo Love.

I think the Glee 'Lady GaGa' special and the songs that will be released on the back of that show will be their best chance for a #1 in the UK tbh....
May 11, 201016 yr A series of f*** ups by their record lable AATW [They seem to ruin every release they handle!] has really affected 'Stereo Love' - There was 'Chris Kaeser Remix' of the song available by error on I-tunes which went Top 50 before it was removed and also the DJ Team version has been available for weeks and is almost identicial..They should have brought the release forward to be in with a chance of going Top 2....
