May 12, 201015 yr Thanks Mikey-Hope Alex can hold onto a Top 10 place until Sunday, I think Glee will be Top 10 tomorrow.
May 12, 201015 yr Thought Glee would've had more of an influence by now :o Hope Pendulum can stay in the top 10...
May 12, 201015 yr Come on Glee! TEOTH is a classic done brilliantly, it deserves to do really well! Laura
May 12, 201015 yr Author Now I'm curious why Amy MacDonald's album has shot back up :o pardon the pun, must be some HMV sale.
May 12, 201015 yr Adam was meant to come here a week before the single release of FYE, but the volcano meant he couldn't fly out here - which would've not doubt had a slight influence on where the single charted Not at all. There wasn't a lot major in his schedule for the week of the volcano. Mostly performances, interviews and other bits and pieces for satellite and online channels with very low viewing figures. Everything he was due to do in that week was either crammed into two afternoons or rescheduled (except the National Lottery show that of course can't be rescheduled) such as the Lorraine Kelly show which was rescheduled from Thursday to Monday. The Justin Lee Collins show (to be broadcast at the end of May - last show of the series) was added at the last minute. It wasn't until after he recorded the JLC show that the Jonathan Ross show was confirmed, and that was nothing to do with his people but down to someone associated with JR being in the JLC studio audience and confirming to JR that he would make a good guest. Adam flew back into the UK for a day on his way back from Europe to the US specifically for the JR show. With the exception of JR and, to a lesser extent, two other shows of which one is yet to be broadcast, his schedule here has been absurd compared to what has been arranged for him in other countries he has been in over the last couple of months. The reaction in sales on Saturday and Sunday to his appearance on the JR show should have told his UK people something but they are still insisting that it was down to all the other promotion too and continue to plead all sorts of ridiculous excuses. Whatever. Been there, done that. Now I'm curious why Amy MacDonald's album has shot back up :o pardon the pun, must be some HMV sale. I noticed Amy's album shooting up the HMV and Amazon charts over the past couple of days. It has been having some TV advertising this week. Looks like mini viva may have been a one hit wonder act :( I can't say I expected them to be anything else. There's a pattern with these young girl duos. Edited May 12, 201015 yr by Catwoman
May 12, 201015 yr Quite surprising midweeks- Glee isnt top 10 yet but Im sure it will be top 5 tomorrow, surprising to see Christina stall and Rihanna fall I guess these will change over time
May 12, 201015 yr surprising to see Christina stall and Rihanna fall Not surprised to see Rihanna fall under the circumstances. Catwoman, I'm not going to quote your "thesis" :D but I have to agree. The industry gives out awards for best marketing campaign. If they gave out awards for worst, Adam's UK promo team would sweep the board this year. Edited May 12, 201015 yr by Franzipan
May 12, 201015 yr Up six places for Stereo Love since yesterday :o How has it done that, all the remixes combined I guess? I really want this to go top 5, it's only missed the top 5 in Belgium so far :heehee:

May 12, 201015 yr Now I'm curious why Amy MacDonald's album has shot back up :o pardon the pun, must be some HMV sale. It might be just because the second single is now being promoted and released soon. Really glad to see the remix album climb!! Have Biffy not climbed, despite their song doing well on iTunes? May 12, 201015 yr WOW. Go Alicia with her Platinum Collection  Was expecting low top 40 at best for her, maybe? Top 20 is a shock, but deserving considering all three albums are amazing! Go Glee too. I'm like Graham slightly shocked that only two have entered so far. I can see 'Ice Ice Baby' & 'Physical' enter tomorrow though maybe...
