Precocious R&B vocalist/pianist Alicia Keys was hand-picked by Clive Davis as one of the flagship artists for his post-Arista label, J Records. No doubt he was as impressed by her multitude of skills (Keys took a large role in the writing, arranging, and production of her debut album) as by her music, which mates contemporary hip-hop accoutrements to an old-school soul sensibility a la Jill Scott or D'Angelo. I think it's a combination of too many people having the album and the fact the video might have been released too early. However it'll probably be top 15 eventually.

It never was, listen to it, its an album track, this isnt a single really, it was never going to do incredibly well, i think top 20 is good for this song tbh.

It should continue to sell the album though.

I think this will end up peaking around #16 but it deserves to be about 10 places higher, if we're going on quality.

Just because TSWABH isn't doing as well as her other singles this era, it is doing as well as most of her other back catalogue and i'm sure it can peak in the top 15 at some point.
