This is a VERY special occasion as I rarely make threads on Buzzjack :o

But ignoring information we do have already with regards to season 2, what would you like to see from Glee next year?

By this I mean the direction of the show, the characters and their interactions etc.

Is she going to keep her child or give it away? :o

The bun is going to drop in the finale and she may change her mind. That'd be interesting.

^^ That's what I meant. Not that I'm an expect on maternal love having no uterus and all but surely a mother would feel something when she holdsh er new born baby in her arms?

Besides I think it'd be a very bold move on Glee's behalf. They've already tackled the pregnancy and Kurt's sexuality. Watching Quinn struggle with motherhood would be fabulous imo.

I think she will keep it, I hope she does anyway, it would make for some interesting storylines. It would be interesting to see her raise the baby as a single mother, and to see Puck being forced to mature and how he deals with it. Quinn is a very likeable character, one of my favourites, and from the pilot I don't think anyone would have guessed how far she has come; I think the only other way they will handle it is by her giving away the baby, have an episode dealing with her guilt, and then have the rest of her arch in Season Two being her trying to 'get her respect back' like she wanted to in 'Bad Reputation'. That could work if done right, but I think it would be a step back in her devlopment, and I think there is more potential for storylines if she keeps the baby.

Other than wanting Quinn to deal with motherhood, I can't think of anything else. The obvious one is Kurt getting a boyfriend,

but that's already happening, and I love the way they are doing it by giving him a jock boyfriend, and turning it on it's head by making them popular.

Perhaps a character being being killed off? I know that seems extreme, but I would like to see how they would handle a storyline like that.

It could be an interesting story line, plenty of opportunity for more Quinn solos :magic:

Another reason she should keep it :kink: also I hope next year they do a Lost or a Skins, and have each week focusing on a different character as well as the 'issue of the week' so for example Episode 1 could focus on Quinn with the issue of 'responsibility'.

I really do want it to have more drama but I feel that'd deflect it's comedic nature and I might not be left with a feeling of joy and happiness after watching it anymore :(

I personally wouldn't want any of them to die tbh [the black guy whose name I don't know would be my top pick, just because I love the whole 'Other Asian' thing :heehee:'.

I want to see more depth to Brittany and even just an episode where Sue somehow manages to become Principal

I'm really struggling to see where the show will go in season 2. Once they've won Nationals after Regionals about halfway through season 2, what's going to happen? Internationals?

As much as it pains me to say it, I'm getting horrid visions of Glee really, seriously outstaying its welcome and going rapidly downhill in the latter half of season 2 as it starts to rely on storylines (which aren't really its strong point - how many cliched plot arcs lasting two or three episodes can they get through before they have to start getting ridiculous?) to drive the show, rather than the focus of the competition...

Yeah, I realise this wasn't really a post about what I'd like to see :heehee:

Of course, I want an equal balance of drama and comedy, I was just thinking of the drama side of things  And yes, yes, yes for Sue becoming principle for an episode, and Figgins can become the janitor she abuses :kink:

I think everyone is thinking this, Murphy has said frequently that he has storylines planned up to Season Four, and that the cast will never graduate, but hopefully after being hated on for dragging out Nip/Tuck, he has learnt from his mistakes.

Nah I have thought that myself.

I honestly dont' see a future if they're going to stick to the same formula. It's already grating in a way. I think they should throw in something major that causes the club to break up or something? I dunno.

I don't think this would be a good idea as, like most ensemble shows, the show as at the top of it's game when they are together. Seperate them and I think it will go stale more quickly, plus we will have to witness the eventual coming-back-together storyline anyway.

But, I do think each character should have more of an individual storyline next year, which is why I think each episode should focus on a different character. Preggers was argubably a Kurt episode and was one of the seasons best, and a great stand alone story. Also, maybe changing the scenery a bit, have some of them travel somewhere:

although I think they have already filmed stuff for Season Two in New York.

Anyways here's my ideas for characters next year, although I think it will be easier to do after we see what happens in the finale.

Rachel: If Nude Erections New Directions win, maybe the Glee Club will get a lot of press attention, which will spark Rachel into trying to break into broadway. Rents an apartment in New York and hijinks ensue as shes tries any means necessary to get any part (also if rumours are true that Michelle wants to leave Glee in the near future to pursue other projects than this could lead to a nice ending in the S2 finale, where she is finally cast in a play, and it ends with Will or Finn giving her a little pep talk, before she goes on to the big stage, the curtains go up on her opening night and just as she is about to sing the episode ends )

Finn: Starts his own rock band, and gets sucked into the whole rock n' roll scene. Deals with daddy issues. Becomes closer with Santana (I think Santana was really 'open' (:kink:) with Finn in 'Power of Madonna', and would make an interesting couple.)

Will: Plans to marry Emma.

Emma: Still doesn't 100% trust Will, meets another person with OCD, and through helping her dealing with her issues, she solves her own obsessions at the same time.

Sue: I like GrAmii's idea, of Sue becoming sick of Figgins, and aiming to take over as Principle to get cheerios more funding. More 'Dear Journal...' moments

Mercedes: Becomes Head Cheerio, the power begins to corrupt her :P Also as Rachel takes a more backseat role, after she starts to spend more time in New York trying to break into broadway, she becomes the main female singer.

Kurt:

Finally getting a boyfriend, and becoming popular.

Quinn: Dealing with motherhood, trying to mend realtionship with parents. Single.

Puck: Struggles to settle down, proposes to Quinn towards the end of the season. The third season could focuse on them as a married couple with a baby.

Artie: Tries to find a way to get surgery to get out of his wheelchair.

Tina: Becomes friends with another misunderstood goth. Begins a kinky open relationship with Artie :P

Santana: Finally admits her feelings to Brittany, although the bisexual begins an affair with Finn after she gets fed up with Brittany's stupidity.

Brittany: Continues with her comedy relief role, likes Santana, but doesn't quite get the implications of what Santana wants out of her and doesn't understand what a 'serious' relationship is. Is upset when Sanatana stops seeing her.

'Dear Journal' is just absolutely fantastic <333 It deserves its own spin-off series imo.

Will they be bringing Jesse back? He's actually really grown on me now :(

I want a proper Tina storyline. But since she's being demoted to recurring it aint gonna be happening :(

That actually got denied a while ago. I'd love a Tina storyline. I know the GaGa episode is meant to be about her actually..

Oh, and I can't wait for Series 2 when we see Kurt with his Superjock boyfriend <3

Oh. I swear I saw it confirmed somewhere but anyway that's great. Im clearly a flop gleek :(

I don't want them to do another artist themed episode. It would be cool I guess if they did one per season though. If they do Britney then 'Baby One More Time', 'Toxic', 'Everytime' and 'Womanizer' are musts.

And Kurt should sing 'Slave 4 U' to Finn. lol forever.

Rachel to have laryingitis again and totally lose her voice, with Mercedes replacing her as lead
As good as Mercedes is, she really isn't very good for a permanent lead role imo. Rachel's voice is perfect. I really don't understand Mercedes' fans' obsessions with Rachel being lead. At least you have loads of Mercedes solos, which are full length! :( Poor Quinn.
