good no way was a paying £1.99 for the phone version lol

Done my bit and downloaded the acoustic.

They've got 2 (legal) downloads and a physical out of me.

:P

Next time release a 7".

It will definately get two weeks in the top 10 I think, if it hangs around 9-12 on iTunes in it's third week it could manage three weeks in the top 10.
They've got 2 TV appearances next week, Michael Ball and Studio 5 so that may bump them up a place or two on iTunes, but yeah it's gonna be around #8 on iTunes on Monday so if it does get #1 this week it'll have a hell of a fall.
I think JLS have the record for the biggest single drop in one week with #1 - #7. Obviously that counts out charity singles and campaigns and reality show #1's,

Midnight update:

06 iTunes

10 HMV

06 Amazon

02 Tesco

All in the Top 10, not too bad.

Pretty sure McFly's "Baby's Coming Back" holds the record which fell #1 - #20 I believe.

This is going to fall hard next week. I'm saying #1/#2/#3 - #8.
Don't forget the album is released next week and I imagine physicals will still be strong enough for them. It'll probably have a similar chart run to Kelly Clarksons 'My Life Would Suck Without You'/Pixie 'Boys & Girls' if it reaches number 1.
remember dont download the same version on the same site it only counts as one sale, make sure you download one say from itunes , amazon etc and im sure the ep only counts as one so download each track separately!

I think JLS drop was just the biggest this year or for a few years.. I'm pretty sure Mcfly hold that record ?

& as well as the girls tweeting about buying the song.. so is Oritse:

Wow I hope The saturdays go to No.1... Everyone I know loves "Missing you", go get it in stores or buy it on I tunes !!! Oritsé x

The saturdays new record is amazinnggg!!! Love it!! Oritsé x

Thanks to everyone who bought the Saturdays new song Missing You! The girls are on course for their first number one but it's very close!M x

I don't think the boys have ever tweeted that much about the same song :o

They have blatently been asked by The Sats to do it  I sure hope this gets to number 1 tommorow or I'm sure the girls will feel a bit silly literally begging everyone

I'd feel sorry for their fans mainly.. Rochelle retweeted a few pics of fans that had bought multiple copies.. and imagine it then only ended up at number 2/3..

I'm guessing it will chart at 2 this week and then fall to around 8 next week

Well, todays the day...

Infact today hasn't been a bad day for The Sats on the old download front...

I've noticed that the album release doesn't affect so much the placings of the singles which are top-10 in iTunes in the week of the albums releases. For example, Kylie's 'All the Lovers' fell 3-9 with the album release with the song being out from iTunes top-10 that week.

Besides, the Saturdays are already at #6, and there is no way of overtaking 5 entries which are above this song. Plus, there are 3 new major releases next week who aim for the top-10: Roll Deep, Chase & Status and Inna. I'm pretty sure Roll Deep and C&S will go top-5 -> push the Saturdays down two extra places. So, we'll get #8. And there is Inna who might surprise us which makes a #9 for the Saturdays. Also, I can see the fall behind 'Airplanes' too which will give us #10. Combining this all, I can see the fall to #7 - 10 depending on their luck.
