I have been to t4 on the beach stars of 2009 and radio 1 big weekend last year and in all 3 of the shows they sounded terrible and sometimes mimed, even Calvin Harris said that they are suppose to be crap live

 

 

Rochelle and vanessa are the only ones who can sing good live

 

Una has a distinctive voice but sounds like she is being choked live

 

Frankie is just not a good singer, sounds terrible in undercover lover live

 

Mollie has no vocal talent AT ALL..... Sounds horrible live and on songs like work, no wonder she hardly gets any line in songs

 

 

I'm not supprised chasing lights and especially word shaker did crap

I don't, personally, think them having bad voices (which have improved, I think Mollie + Frankie used to dreadful, but they've improved) is the reason that Wordshaker underperformed. I mean, you only had to have ears, to hear that Pixie Lott isn't really THAT good live, she's not very good - but, it hasn't caused any problems for her.

 

Bad live vocals =/= bad sales.

1) Vanessa, Una and Rochelle can sing live very well and they are 60% of the group which therefore means the majority of the group are good vocalists. SUCK ON DAT.

 

2) Mollie and Frankie are not the best vocalists in the world, hence they dont sing as often as the other 3. They're improving slowly.

 

3) Chasing Lights sold 300k and therefore did not flop so you know, shut up?

 

4) Yes they mime sometimes. No, I dont approve of that either. Im not sure if during the promo for Ego it was done because Ness was appearing on the Opera show thing on ITV?

 

5) Calvin Harris was bitter cos they didnt record Ready For The Weekend

 

6) You're a Pixie fan. Seen some of her live performances much?

I'm guessing his name 'wmk' means 'wear my kiss' ... if so, he can't particularly talk about vocals from Sugababes. :lol:

I hate it when people say they can't sing live. I think they're absolutely fantastic. The only times they've sounded bad were at the unfortunate occasions you went to see them.

And there's more on YouTube. And btw, they also sounded horrible on Paul O Grady when they sang 'Forever Is Over'. They sound very good on their tour videos, probably when they're more relaxed and not nervous for being on live TV.

The live version of Chasing Lights which is / was downloadable on itunes is simply phenominal! all 5 members shine - listen to this and recomment!

I love them, but they were dire at T4 on the Beach :( Saying that, they can all sing (bar Mollie), and I personally think Frankie is really underrated.
