November 26, 201014 yr Author any better? I assumed that the sales were from BOTH albums combined. That's why I never included the 92 version. But I could be wrong. Edited November 26, 201014 yr by scott
November 26, 201014 yr Yes, better! I thought initially it was the two versions combined but I have read in more than one place that the 2002 release was platinum on sales for 2002 onwards. It would be great if Music Week/ The OCC could publish a comprehensive Kylie sales list.
November 28, 201014 yr Author Agree! But they never seem to give us full sales! I expect when she releases her next greatest hits we might get some new sales :D but then again I thought we may have got some album sales for previous albums when Aphrodite went number one. Anyone remember what showgirl homecoming cd sold? I can't remember lol. I did have its sales somewhere but lost them! Oh and if anyone wants to ask around on other websites for Kylie sales for PWL years that would be great ;)
November 29, 201014 yr Showgirl - estimated at 60k on Haven. BTT sold just over 7k last week so is on 12k now. Hoping for 7-10k this week and then 20k or more the week after. On current single sales that would only be enough for low top 20.
November 29, 201014 yr Author I've updated the sales. If we can get chart positions every week for GOMW and ATL and BTT inside the top 200 we can get a rough estimation of how much there was sold. I've edited it so it's all on the first page at the top. Also edited the topic title. I've also done guestimations, which you will notice with the question marks next to them. They will probably be way way off, but I used the official top 40 selling kylie songs to base the guestimations on. Because I had sales figures for some of the osngs in the top 40 it helped me guess how much the ones with no sales figures could have sold. I just didn't like not having numbers next to them, when we get sales for the guestimations I will change them. Edited November 29, 201014 yr by scott
November 29, 201014 yr On an official countdown on Smash hits they had a list of some of her singles sales.Don't know how accurate these sales were but they compiled by the OCC: I should be so lucky 700,000 Got to be certain 320,000 The loco-motion 440,000 Je ne sais pas pour quoi 330,000 Especially for you just under 1 million. Hand on your heart 480,000 Wouldn't change a thing 325,000 Never too late 230,000 Give me just a little more time 325,000 Confide in me 209,000
November 30, 201014 yr Author Cheers for that. I will have a look at them. EDIT - I've put these sales next to the sales we already have and I'm just wondering if someone could tell me what they think are the right sales. Thanks. Edited November 30, 201014 yr by scott
December 3, 201014 yr Good sales list so to add, from UK Mix: ATL - 315k GOMW - 55k (a terrible underperformance for a second single but higher than Chocolate, GYU and soon will take over IMA and CIMW) BTT - >5k after 2 weeks on the top 200. Looks like it will outsell GOMW in due course. Aphrodite - 222k. Looks as though UK Mix were a bit too over eager with ATL, from Haven: ATL - 48th of year so far with 307.7k Aphrodite - 37th of year to date down from 33rd - 229000
December 3, 201014 yr If a non-plaintum album can make it to Top 40 for year end album chart, imagine the rest of the chart...
December 3, 201014 yr Are these estimates? Yes, but accurate from the year to date thread on haven/ buzzjacks's chart forum.
December 3, 201014 yr If a non-plaintum album can make it to Top 40 for year end album chart, imagine the rest of the chart... Yes, sales are poor these days. Last year Madonna's CLB was 40th on 300k. Probably will be similar this year though overall sales are down 10%. That said download sales have risen by 10% too but it is still a fall in value to the industry. Kylie will probably miss the year end top 40 as even if she sells another 40k it won't be enough to keep the fast climbing Q4 releases at bay.
March 13, 201114 yr Are you sure about 1,800,000 for Fever? In June 2009 it was given as 1,690,863. 1,700,000, maybe?
May 25, 201114 yr EFY is now over 1 million. Is that official? :w00t: Another million seller for Kylie! ...oh, and also one for Jason too..
May 25, 201114 yr Great that especially for you has finally made the million, i really thought it would never get there.
May 25, 201114 yr Every 'Kylie Sales' thread I have read have all said EFY had sold 990,000, so it was quite suprising to hear that it had passed 1m. Hope fully we will get an official figure in next weeks MusicWeek Edited May 25, 201114 yr by liamk97
May 25, 201114 yr Ya hopefully music week mention it at some stage, is there any other Kylie single that is anyhwere close to the million?
