What a stupid title. Bloody heck!

I don't think it makes much difference whether there is one or two singles prior to the release, Chasing Lights barely did any better than Wordshaker initially and it was the subsequent singles that helped it sell.

Guys it IS AN EP.

Universal used that odd looking press release in the 'Missing You' page saying again that it was a "club hit in waiting". So the EP is real in that case, and it's going to be £9.99. What an absolute rip off. Unless they changed their mind a few days ago and decided to do an album and chuck in 4 'Wordshaker' rejects, to make 12 tracks.

where has the price come from, if it's from retail sites it's probably not the real price, just a stand price or whatever they call them.

The title is alright. Not as good as "Chasing Lights" or "Wordshaker"

Maybe they aren't releasing it after two singles as they only plan releasing 1 single? Maybe.. just a thought

It's a definitely EP/'mini album' then, i don't mind that, just hopefully not with FIO and Ego on it.

& Una said the colours are coming back. We kinda already noticed that with the 'Missing You' cover, but at least she's confirmed it now:) .

Maybe the £9.99 price is for the 'signed sleeve edition' on the Universal website.

I hope so! £9.99 for 8 tracks, 3/8 of them we'll have in past single/album form too!

I doubt they'll be making many headlines with that title :kink:

Maybe "The Saturdays" will do Eurovision next year, since they're naming the album after the Alcazar song that was in this year's Swedish selection :P

I agree, if this isn't an EP it's absolutely ridiculous that they're only releasing one single before its release.

Most artists these days tend to release their album after the first single....I dont think its a bad idea but they need to get the first single right or the album may struggle

I'm aware most artists only release one single before an album but surely The Sats' label/management should realise how it didn't exactly do wonders for 'Wordshaker' and therefore avoid the same mistake again.

You know, the more I know about this EP, the less exited I get about it. Headlines is an allright title I suppose. I still think they were stupid to pass on the opportunuity to call the debut album Taking Back Sunday tbh :P
Isn't there a group named "Taking Back Sunday" though? Maybe that's why it hasn't been an album title?

Someone just made that rumour up and it was based on the band's name, the same way there was a rumour about the second album being called Colonial Masses.

Not too sure on them releasing another album/EP so soon.. I'm sure the material will be good as I loved Wordshaker.. but can't seeing this doing very well

I'm still not keen on the idea of an EP :( Esp. if Ego and FIO are on it... I would have prefered a Wordshaker re-release then a whole new album next year, an EP is gonna fail epic stylee :( Then again, so would a new album, so it makes difference tbh

I can see this debuting in the top ten again and plummeting really quickly just like Wordshaker. They should do a Part 1 and Part 2 to this, it didn't harm Justin Bieber's chart run (debuted #4, plummeted, when Part 2 was released it went up to #3 and has been top 20 for weeks).

Tracklisting on Amazon:

1. Missing You

2. Ego

3. Forever Is Over

4. Higher

5. Karma

6. One Shot

4 new songs 3 new songs including MY?

4 new songs?! You mean 3! One Shot is on Wordshaker!! That better not be the final tracklisting!
