JLS sold 67,731 copies in their 2nd week with Beat Again.. & I'm sure TCIA will probably have lower sales than that in its 2nd week

I Need You Tonight sold 48,265 in its 1st week..

I guess it depends on how frontloaded JLS are.. & if the song is able to sell more than I Need You Tonight

Still going with top 3 though

Honestly the song itself is okay, byt when he opens his mouth! So chavvy!! oooauch
This is a guilty pleasure for me  Top5, I like it but I hope it doesn't go #1.
Unfortunately most probably a #1. Not quite as bad as his last single (which was the worst single of the year bar none), but still pretty much a disgrace to music.

I think JLS will easily get number 1 on their release week, but its not certain they'll do it for a second week,Beat Again and Everybody In Love had huge first week sales, but they dropped off fairly quickly after that, so I still think this has a chance, it all depends how much staying power JLS have

I actually like the song- Lily Allen saves it though imo

I think the club is alive will be their biggest hit yet, so prof green may miss out on #1 again.

He's so jokes!

I love how Pro Green (what kind of abbrevation is that by the way, makes him sound like he supports the Green Party) has sold out already. Lily Allen on this single, the old one on a New Look ad  Undaground massiv blud :kink:
Maybe people will see sense and buy neither... meh, as if that'll happen. :(

We can only pray.

I do quite like this song but only for Lily Allen, if she wasn't on it, this would be awful. It beats The Club Is Alive though, worst song of the year so far by a mile.

Changed my mind - This is already A Listed on Radio one and is all over the music channels so i think its definately going to number one....

What do you mean 'already'?

Green has been around 'underground' since 2006.

Point taken, but Dizzee Rascal at least had a year or two of not selling his soul to corporations.

It's all about the money, it's all about the dum-dum-da-da-dum-dum :kink:

and the fame of course.

As for this song, I predict #1. I like Lily's parts but the original's enough for me there anyway, and I despise his verses, just as I did with the last single.

This is the 10's equivalent to the Fugees Killing Me Softly, with the rapping interjections between the lines of the chorus; it'll (unfortunately) be HUGE.

Dizzee Rascal runs his own label though? :P

He just chose to switch to more commercial music because that's what he wanted to do.

Also, it would be 5 years in Dizzee's case - Boy In Da Corner came out in 2003 and Dance Wiv Me was 2008.

I don't think there's a thread for his album (because he's that popular on here :P), so I'll say it here:

He better release Monster (Ft. Example) as third single  Why it wasn't released as first single, ahead of the rubbish "I Need You Tonight" & the not-quite-so-rubbish-but-still-rubbish-at-the-same-time "Just Be Good To Green" is beyond me

The album is epic   Love 'Monster' but i think there are better songs that would work as singles on the album tbh.
