:o If you said this on TV, you'd be a LOT more hated than Katie Price!

Well that's fine with me because I don't need to whore myself out to every media outlet that will have me and get married etc etc to get a bit of cash.

It looks like Ciara may break the Top 40.Really like her as an artist but hate the video for Ride.

Katie Price-Free to fame whore again up to 180-stop the madness please.

I don't know how Ciara has got so high with no promotion what so ever I didn't think it would make the top 100 on iTunes, I'm happy tho it deserves to be much higher.

Jason Derulo  to #116 with 'What If'. :o There's a trailer for the video on YouTube, it's like a movie trailer. :P

it's sold over 170k in Uk that's gotta be more than Diana vickers once haha

'Once' has sold 182,000 copies, so if 'Party in the USA' has sold 170,000 copies, it hasn't sold more than 'Once'.

JLS's chart run will be 1-8-27-OUT

I hate the song more than anybody else and I know that's not going to happen.

It'll most likely fall 1-4 next week.

It'd probably have a chart run like:

1-4-7-11-19-31-OUT

The top 10 effect will prevent it from plummeting.

I never thought I'd be saying this but  @ B.o.B being #1. :D

Hopefully he'll get a huge lead now that he's #1 and will beat JLS this sunday. The public clearly haven't taken to this song (I'm sure that without the crazy fans, they wouldn't have been number one in the first place). I think it would actually do JLS the world of good if they missed the top spot because they might actually stop being complacent and instead record decent songs.

I agree with that. Their management/record label seem to think they can record whatever and it will go to number 1.. I still think this will but it won't do anywhere near as well as the previous singles - so I hope this teaches them to record better material..

If I'm honest the song has slightly put me off them.. I'm still a fan but I don't understand why they would agree to have this as a single.. especially when they thought it had to much autotune when they first heard it :S

Don't forget 'The Club Is Alive' will be on the new NOW album, which is released next Monday. That will stabilise it for a week.

Precisely.

This second album is really make or break for them in regards to me being a slight fan. TCIA has made me even more pessimistic about the quality of the album but I'll try to have an open mind.

One of the things I love about Leona is that despite her being hyped around 2007/2008, smashing globally and everyone believing she could do no wrong, complacency was non-existent (I know many believe Happy was a BL 2.0 but it really wasn't). Her second album was even better than the first but JLS' management think anything they release will sell - they aren't Lady GaGa FFS.

Yay Airplanes number 1! :cheer: :D

Unfortunately, this is 'Waving Flag vs Shout' all over again, in which the song that has been number 1 at the beginning of the week will stay there, also its the worse song that wins :(

Fortunately I can see B.o.B comfortably outrunning it overall, and could sell more than Nothing On You

I predict JLS' chart run: 1-4-6(the week NOW is out)-10-20-33-OUT

I can see The Club is Alive going 1-3 or 1-4 aswell. I'm almost certain that Airplanes and California Gurls will beat it next week. It's just a question of whether Professor Green/Lily Allen, Eminem/Rihanna or Yolanda/DCUP will beat it. I think one of them might, but I doubt all 3 of them will.

I think it'll be, 1-5-8-10-18-27-39-out

Sell around 200K.

Which is a shame as this is soooo much better than Everybody In Love but it is sooooo much worse than Beat Again which is worse than One Shot.

I bet some of the queer community will lap it up. Those self absorbed, plastic individuals who think Katie Price is a goddess. Oh and the housewives that read OK! and are on 'Team Katie' lmao.

Diabolical to the nth degree. The sooner it becomes legal to put down animals like Price, I will warm to Britain once more. :kink:

Tone it down.

Ms Price does have some fans in this forum, and I'm sure they will have found that offensive.

I'd much rather buy anything Katie releases than Peter releases.
This B.o.B vs. JLS battle is slightly reminiscent of Flo vs. GaGa! (The first week 'Poker Face' got to number 1).
