I think it sounds identical to 'Once'. Yes, there are differences but the "once, once, once, yeah, once, once, once, yeah" part sounds exactly like "shot shot shot like a bullet, stop stop stop" part. She should have tried to release something completely OPPOSITE of 'Once'. 'Once' flopped bigtime and that was with it being her debut single and having incredible hype, so how is her second single (a replica of Once) gonna fare?

 

And yes, it's flopping bigtime but so was Praying by Plan b and that shot up to the top 50 after Alan Carr. Has she any promo lined up?

Plan B was never going to flop with Prayin it is his best tune.It was climbing slowly but steadily.Diana has GMTV,the 5 O'clock show and is on T4 on the Beach this weekend.I am sure R1 will have her in everyday the week of release.

The fact that 'Once' got to #1 immediately means that it didn't flop "big time". It underperformed, yes, because it was only on the chart for a few weeks. But it charted at #1, so in no way whatsoever, was it a flop. -_-

Completely disagree once wasn't a flop at all..She had very good sales for the #1, I know she fell pretty quickly but it had a decent amount of sales.

Considering it was Radio 1 A-listed, monster music channel support, GMTV, Blue Peter, Live Lounge, 5:19 show, numerous gigs andthe fact it was the highly anticipated debut single from one of the most popular and controversial X-Factor contestants ever i'd say it was a massive flop.

That's pretty much irrelevant though. You can't call a #1 single a flop, it just doesn't make sense. It underperformed, because the amount of time it spent in the charts was pretty poor, but the fact that it got to #1 stops it from being a flop. If you told someone that a single that had gotten to #1 was a flop, they would laugh in your face.

Once was NOT a flop- it got to number 1, a flop number 1? yes, of course it was, five weeks top 40 is disastrous, but the song was not a flop, plus it had decent sales when it got to number 1

 

a flop is when the single charts badly- had it missed the top 10 and then bombed, it would've been a flop

 

TBWML isnt out til the 19th June surely it has a few weeks before it makes an impact- oh and shes at T4 so that could help her, shadows right, she just needs promotion

Yes they would. A flop is not a #1 single, whether you think so or not.

FFS, 'Once' is in no way a flop and you're looking ridiculous saying that. The end.

 

'The Boy Who Muerdered' love may well flop, but with nearly 3 weeks until official release it's way too early to say for sure. #115 now anyway, climbing back up.

I hate when people say a single flopped or is a "flop number 1" .. Yes Once didn't perform very well, but no way was it a flop..Not all singles have great staying power

 

 

Kelly Rowland just performed 'Commander' on The 5 O'Clock Show, so hopefully that'll give it another little boost! ^_^
