If we're looking at the same compilation, it has "Dynamite" on it as well. That's another future hit in the making which could start rising in the not too distant future if left on there.

Dynamite is #504. That looks promising, considering it's still early days for that song in the UK.

And Alors on danse is up to #199!

The more it sells before the 22nd, the more chance Alex has of getting to number one with 'Start Without You'.

Dyamite WILL be a massive number 1, I will eat my socks if it isnt! it just screams 'anthemic number 1'- cant see Alex getting it, I dont think she'll ever get another number 1

Billionaire could well get there next week if its elligible :o

oh and I predict:

Basshunter- No.5- think this will be a hit

Diana Vickers- No.20- too optimistic?

Jedward- No.8- Wouldnt be shocked if it missed out though

Usher ft Pitbull- No.17- could got top 10 though

Scouting For Girls- No.25- shouldnt do that well

Pendulum- No.34- not expecting this to do much

I think "Dynamite" will beat Alex to #1. "Don't Let Me Start Without You" is no "Bad Boys" :( And I don't know how casual listeners will react to it - will people take it seriously since she's sampling the Cheeky girls? And I know that the Cheeky girls song sampled another song itself or something, but people will know it as Cheeky girls, and weren't they like a slightly better version of Jedward?
I personally think Start Without You is a lot better than Bad Boys. I thought Bad Boys was quite a poor song. I don't really know what the general public think though.

I keep seeing this 'samples the Cheeky Girls' ... but I don't know how?!

I can't really explain how exactly, I can't really tell myself after listening to both songs, but it was obvious to me the first time I heard "...Start Without You"

it's not the cheeky girls what it samples, the cheeky girls used a song but i can't remember what it's called.

I really dont think it does, and if it does it isnt very noticeable tbh so I dont think Joe Bloggs will realise .

this. all of this. despise 'bad boys', but after that, her singles turned out great.

"Hooray Hooray" by Boney M

And I think "Bad Boys" is the best thing Alex has done so far.

'All Night Long' sh!ts all over everything else Alex has done in my opinion.

You obviously haven't heard 'The Map', 'Turbulence' and 'Perfect'. :P

'All Night Long' is Alex's best single so far though.

ANL >>>> SWY >>>>> Hallelujah > BB >>> BH

I don't get this Cheeky Girls thing. I also don't think it's as cheesy as people make out. It's like "Oh it's an Alex song, it's cheesy". That's how it sounds. 'Rude Boy' is cheesier imo and it's sold bucket loads.

Sampling the cheeky girls is a new form of low :kink:

I think SWY is a LOT better than Bad Boys, I didnt like that- Broken Heels was OK, All Night Long is her best so far by a mile, Im not sure where this will chart, but Im 100% sure it will not be number 1

HOW on EARTH is Rude Boy cheesy? Rude Boy has Jamaican influences through and through and Alexandra has carnival influences...

Lyrically Rude Boy is no masterpiece but it's certainly a much more credible track than 'Start Without You'.

I was referring to the lyrics in RB more tbh. They are extremely cheesy.

If Alexandra came out with that record, people would be calling it cheesy no doubt. But just cos it's Rihanna, it's credible. <_<

Oh and btw SWY has Jamaican influences too. She has said a billion times that the song is going back to her roots.

I agree with this, except with Bad Boys and Broken Heels swapped around.

This sample thing could just be down to two songs sampling the same song. It happens all the time really. Like how Number 1 and Ridin' Solo both sampled Bittersweet Symphony. Ridin' Solo did not sample Number 1. The funny thing is Bittersweet Symphony was based off The Last Time, and The Last Time was based off a song called This May Be the last Time from 1955! :o

It's weird to think that without a song from almost 60 years ago being created, Ridin' Solo wouldn't exist!

49. Billionaire - Travie Mccoy Feat Bruno Mars

Ah, Billionaire is just on a compilation, not the official release, so it'll likely be removed

Seeing that the compilation has both 'Dynamite' and 'Billionaire' on it, it is SO gonna get removed.

Have you even seen the spelling of some of the titles

That's the one problem with iTunes - it takes them SO long to remove a song.
