I think it may suffer from Imma Be-syndrome (although not to the same extent), so I'll expect it to only go top 20.

It's just that, everybody already knows the song.

around 14-16 with bout 6-8 weeks top 40

Will be surprised if this has a CD single here, been such a long time since she's had one here.

I'd say Top 20.

Awful song, if chart positions were reflecting quality, it would have already peaked.

Anyway, it would be fun to see it peak lower on proper release than prematurely

Top 10 around #16.

?!

I'm thinking around #19.

* Hard is MUCH better than any other single released off this album apart from Russian Roulette.

* Rude Boy was the most successful single clearly because of the slightly novelty of it (Come on rude boy, can you get it up, come on rude boy, is you big enough) bit...

* Te Amo isn't great so clearly didn't do as well.

This deserves a Top 5 placing but unfortunately I think it'll only go low Top 20...shame as it's alot better than Rude Boy and Te Amo. :(

I agree that Hard is one of the highlights of the album, so it deserves to do really well, but it's release and promotion has been completely messed up, so it will suffer.

I think in situations like this, it would be best to remix or edit the track, so that it's slightly different, and won't suffer so much from it seeming old, and some people already having downloaded it, or bought the album. Sort of like Gettin' Over You, All Night Long, Turn It Up, Ridin' Solo, etc.

Don't be ridiculous!

I say low top 10. It's a good enough to song to sneak in despite having already charted.

Don't be ridiculous!

Where have you been for the last few years of the UK chart's nature/chart act positions - under a rock?!

What has quality got to with the 48th (Silver Rocket™) single on chart placing (unless U R the 'Black Eyed Peas' of course) - whether its ease of access to (random) album tracks or that Chart music has so much more competition from the different forms of entertainment around today (so less of the 'pie') that a nth single from the same album no longer has enough potential consumers left to make it much of a hit regardless.

I mean 'we've' only discussed it to death on buzzjack about 1000000 times - but i guess this is one of the disadvantages of having goldfish cerebra. :)
