Pre-ordered my copy (standard edition) today at HMV for £7.99. (One day only etc.) Need it as I'm collecting GaGa's albums + it turns out, it is actually a very good album after a few listens!

'Marry The Night' is incredible .... unfortunately that and 'The Edge Of Glory' are the only ones standing out to me :(. Really hope it's a grower because right now I'm slightly disappointed tbh.

'Heavy Metal Lover' has finally properly clicked with me. I always liked it but I didn't understand why so many people on here were raving about it over the rest. It is actually amazing now, and has gone from being a 8.0 to a 9.5. Still only 8th favourite though, being beaten by Judas, Hair, TEOG, SchiBe, Americano, Marry The Night and Government Hooker. Stands a testement to how good the album is though, if a 9.5 song can only come 8th.

I could listen to "Jedward - All The Small Things" on repeat all day if I wanted to, doesn't make it a good song!

 

The reason I said it because there is a good range of different genres within 'Heavy Metal Lovers', I'd find something new each time that I'd listen to it. Doesn't make it a good song though!

I agree that too many people give 10/10's on this site like there's no tomorrow!

 

I mean by scoring a song a 10 are you really saying that it's absolutely PERFECT and no improvements what so ever can be made? I think not..

 

I'm probably guilty of it too aswell tbh, admittedly.

I'm finding some of it disappointing. Well, mainly the stuff from Bloody Mary to Electric Chapel. The rest is all great. Born This Way is probably my favourite track, but that's probably because I really loved it from first listen unlike some others, and I've played the hell out of it since release.

 

Americano is a bit...different. You & I is brilliant, so is Scheibe ]Tyron, if you want that funny letter, tell me how I can do it via my keyboard ;)], the songs released before the album (even Judas is growing a lot). Probably expected MTN to be better.

Bloody mary is a big favourite of mine at the moment.
