The original plan was to have ~7+ singles I believe! She wanted 'Scheiße' as a single but the record label were against it. Also 'Hair' was talked about being promoted to full single I believe? Ahh what could've been!

A shame they didn't push for more singles but I can see it from a commercial point of view that it would be hard to keep getting hits the further down the line it got. Maybe if they had released a few singles before the album, they could have had a couple more post-album singles? 'Scheiße' would have made a killer single! As I say, anything could have been a single, but just imagine the amount of material for a video songs like 'Government Hooker' and 'Bloody Mary' have?

I'm currently listening to this album in its entirety and honestly, I can't ever see her topping it for me personally. There isn't a single moment that lets up or allows you to pause or stop. It is wall-to-wall bangers with such beautiful lyrics and meanings behind every song. A true masterpiece~

It's my second favourite album of all time! Beaten to the post by Madonna's 'Confessions on a Dancefloor'!

The awful thing about 'Scheiße' would have been radio wouldn't have gone near it for obvious reasons so I'm kinda glad it wasn't made an official single because it's WAY too good to not receive the full attention it would have deserved!

9 years ago today, this went to #1 in the US. Today, Chromatica is currently #1 and look at how much she has achieved between these two dates. Mind-blown.
