I reckon something like last year will happen where JLS and Alex did a one off mash up of their songs....hopefully diana and olly

I think on the X Factor, a lot of people simply vote for the best singers. And it's true, Joe is an incredible singer, and better at singing than Olly, but I don't think he fits into the music industry that well. Being a good singer just isn't that important.

 

The same will happen this year to be honest. Rebecca or Mary will probably beat the likes of Cher and One Direction, even though the latter two will definitely do better in the charts; it doesn't matter that they're not as good at singing.

 

I hope One Direction don't release any songs though. I imagine they'd just be given the usual boyband ballads, and I find them very boring. I'd be happy to be proven wrong though. :D

 

I could see myself liking Cher songs, but she'll never ever get a #1. She's just too hated.

A lot of successful pop acts say they're interested in working with Cher - Will.I.Am, NDubs, etc. So she will have a good short at a huge pop career next year - she could do the best of all this year's acts.

 

Rebecca will release a loungey, chilled album but I can't see her having longievity

 

One Direction will be a whitebread pop version of JLS

 

Matt will be a singer/songwriter like James Blunt

 

Mary will be forgotten

I can only guess Mariah would be the most suitable for the final with her x-mas songs. And TT with all that hype around them could be a choice here (remember Robbie was on XF twice last year). What about Kesha's we R who we R? Will it be released in time for that or is it just out of the question?

No Leaks but I know Mary is confirmed to be doing a Barba Streishand ballad.
