Just bought 'Teenage Dream' today, favourites so far (not including the two singles) are Last Friday Night (T.G.IF) Firework, Peacock, Pearl and Not Like The Movies. E.T is probably my least favourite on the album -_-

Even if Katy doesn't manage it this week she will next week I reckon :D

I'm very doubtful about it. Next week is very unpredictable for new releases. Alex Burke will definitely be highly front-loaded but will get hell a lot of sales on her first week. Then again here are McFly. They were on dicrease but now they brought the new sound which appeals to quite a wide audience + the whole boy-bands comeback issue is working for them too. They might SO SO SO surprise us all next week. And we have Alesha Dixon. The song is very controversive and not exactly ear-pleasing BUT she might get a huge hit if she guessed the right sound. But she and her record label are definitely brave, bless them. There are some other huge major releases (Script, Linkin Park) but I don't think they'll do much singles-wise.

is there a studio version of Pepper & Piano
KieranG, when I played a clip in iTunes it sounded like a studio version with additional production and it wasn't definitely that live performance mentioned here.
What do you mean?

Shes already had a #1.

Confused :(

they mean that she has never had a number 1 single straight after the other one

cant seem to find the studio anywhere on youtube or the internet atm need to keep looking a really like it aha
Even if Katy doesn't make it, she'll easily outsell Olly in the long run I reckon and stick around for an age too.

I'm surprised 'Start Without You' isn't out already.

Though I've never really liked it, it feels like it's been around for ages!

The sales will probably be really front-loaded.

Katy's 2nd version of 'TD' won't help the version at #2.

Like Travie McCoy and the Wanted. The Wanted came out at number 1 but Travie's outsold them. Travie looked set to fall majorly after that as it went down to 10 on itunes but it seems to be sticking around.
'Teenage Dream' will be her 'Hot N' Cold' for this era. (Except peak at number 2 instead of 4 or whatever :P). It's going to have incredible staying power. Which is why I wouldn't mind Olly being number 1. He deserves it as it's such a feel-good, radio friendly, inoffensive pop song. Really can't wait for his album.

I can actually see TD being this years Hot N Cold for her, in having great staying and selling power but never quite making number 1, she could get number 1 though as long as it overtakes before Tuesday

Just purchased Olly Murs

Best Top Four in Ages if you ask me.

Do you forget your password all the time :kink:

No :o, whenever I log out it never lets me back on and my password is the same for everything so its not that, its rather annoying :(

Two great minds think alike!

Exactly. E.T is brilliant - just imagine a music video for that! :D

'Last Friday Night' is tragically overrated but I guess most people don't have a soul these days and if a song can be played in a club etc, it'll do well. :drama:

I really thought it was one of the most popular out of the album :(, I do like 'Last Friday Night' a lot but I dont think it deserves to be highest all of them :drama:

I feel the complete opposite, Last Friday Night is my favourite besides the three singles (if we're including Firework in that) so I'm glad to see it doing well, but I can't get into E.T. at all, in fact I don't even remember how it goes and I've listened to the album about 10 times :(

Doesn't your internet have some pop up about if you want it to save your password or not.
