I had no idea that Sky 1 show was so popular, I can't get the channel so am not able to judge it for myself :(
Whats happened with Shontelle's Impossible?
:puke2: Why is Olly Murs a Karioke-lite Will Young beating the immense Katy Perry track with a piece of sh*t Jason Mraz wouldnt even wipe his bum on.

I really hate the british public sometimes total sheep

I don't actually like either song that much (I don't hate them, but there's many better songs that haven't been number-one), but I think it's ridiculous to say it's down to people being sheep. Some "sheep" are buying Katy Perry's song too, you know. Everybody on my facebook suddenly loves Katy after the X Factor, it's sort of like "Well, why didn't you like her before?"

The only sheep around here are the people who think Katy Perry's song is the best thing ever made. So many fickle people on this forum.

No one said that it was the best song ever made people are allowed to express their opinions just like you. ;)

Edited by Kieran.

Wow @ P&P!!! I love MBTM, but didn't think it'd prove this popular!

I'd love that Pepper & Piano song, but I have no credit on my account :(

I KNOW, anyone bought it yet and mind sending me a copy? LOL

The Saturdays Missing You  15. However i think it will climb up to 13 as i suspect Adele and Pepper will drop.

It isn't really...gets less than 500k viewers I recall, which is pretty average for a Sky1 show that's been promoted so heavily. I've seen it a couple of times and thought it was pretty dismal myself. Blates trying to be a "cool" version of X Factor!

The point is: Some Olly Murs fans are "sheep", some Katy Perry fans are "sheep". Some people that bought Olly's song bought it because they like it. Some people bought Katy's song because they like it.

Some people on this forum are a bit too biased sometimes, that's all. Since Katy's song is generally liked here on Buzzjack, people will say at the end of the week that it would've sold more, but it being released the same week as the album hindered it's sales. If people didn't like Katy's song, people would probably say at the end of the week, that it would've sold less, but that it benefitted from the album being released, and having multiple versions of the song on sale.

It doesn't stop there. Last year it was all "Everybody In Love only got number-one because they performed on X Factor". Then a few weeks later, when Lady Gaga got number-one, it apparently had nothing to do with the X Factor at all.

I've never seen such ludacris on here... I don't think anyone has expressed such exclamations about "Teenage Dream".. Perhaps your talking about "Firework"?

WOAH :o

At Katy's HUGE jump on iTunes just then.

Expect her to be #2 in an hour or so :)

Katy should be 2nd by midnight tonight.

Could go either way. Olly could be frontloaded
